- Dispersed camping on forest road 300 in Coconino National Forest ••• We found a free spot to camp on Arizona's Mogollon Rim. On this trip, we saw the Milky Way, found a horned lizard at 7700 feet in elevation, and helped someone in a tough situation.

Beautiful spots in AZ and the fact that you two are just beautiful people makes it better. ❤
Glad you made it up to the rim. Thx for sharing your adventure. I've been camping the rim for 40 years and would encourage you checkout the east side of the 300 on your next trip up. I personally feel there is more to do and see. Instead of heading thru Pine, go east from Payson and head towards Heber. At the Rim, you have Woods Canyon, Willow Springs, Bear, Chevron and Black Canyon lakes. In Late April/May or anytime after heavy rainfall, there is a beautiful waterfall at the Woods Canyon lake dam. Wild Horses can always been seen at the black canyon lake and there is an awesome trail at the back of the lake were crystals can be found in the stream. Follow the trail to the Willow springs dam and follow it to the bottom where there are always anglers doing fly fishing in the creek. Enjoy your adventures and thanks again for sharing.
Those are great tips! Thanks for taking the time to share. :)
Beautiful spot! We need to get down there. Didn't realize how green it can be in AZ. Love those night shots 👌🏻 Y'all are the best karma all around 👍🏻
The hardest part of this HAD to be leaving. Thanks for sharing.
👍👍👍👍👍😃, Great area !!!
Thanks for sharing!
How good/bad was the forest road 300. From what I could tell it was well maintained? I've been wanting to get to the Mogollon for a while now. Everytime I get a chance, it's way to cold to go there. LOL Thanks for sharing!
Your truck would have no issues with forest road 300, and you'd have a blast on your bike up there.
@@TheDieselApartment I do believe I would have been more bummed out than Levi was, not being able to fly the drone. LOL I felt his pain.
That road has spots like they all do but pretty good. Beautiful place.
Check out blue ridge reservoir....kayaking paddleboarding etc....new subscriber and great video.
Hi Wes! Thanks for the suggestion. Blue Ridge Reservoir looks beautiful.

Are there bears in that area?
Hey Steve! Yes, there are black bears in the area. We locked up our food and trash and didn't have any issues with the local wildlife.
