I'm Kaz, a young farm vet working in Northumberland, which is in the North East corner of England. I grew up in the city and found myself doing this job by a very happy coincidence.
This channel is an attempt to show my friends, family, and anyone else who cares, what I do on a day-to-day basis. If you have an interest in veterinary medicine, farming, food or the countryside, join me for the ride.
To get in touch, just send me an email at kaz.strycharczyk@bsfh.co.uk and I'll reply as soon as I can!

I’m so glad that Cammie from The Sheep Game recommended your channel!! Keep up the great work!! Much love!!! Kristin from Oklahoma, USA💞💞💞
Thanks! Big time supporter in Cammy
I volunteer for a horse rescue and Worm Egg Counts are the first thing they do for any new arrivals at the rescue and it is unbelievable how high the worm burdens can be.
You don’t look, you don’t find!
Good stuff! Keep it up now!
Cheers! That’s the plan...
Another good one kaz 👍
You can trust me to talk sh1te!
Be a hefty bill going to the Lee sometime soon I see 😂
@@flazzy6931 we have to pay for those Kaiwakas somehow?
Just found your channel through the sheep game channel. Just one question. Is there any point worming ewes that were housed before they go to grass after lambing?.
Thanks for coming!
Depends how long the were housed for relative to lambing; as far as I’m aware the periparturient rise (PPR) can persist for up to 8 weeks post-lambing but it will not always be the case - no reason you couldn’t get WECs done just before turnout and dose accordingly!
Thanks for reply. Best of luck with your channel.
So what breed were the sheep 🐑?
Mostly Hampshire over blackie ewes. Few Sufftex cross lambs in there as well.
They certainly look for the oven!! Ha ha
I was hoping you were going to demonstrate how to prepare the sample and show the microscope shots. Enjoy your dinner, but I hope it isn’t brown jelly beans for afters.
None of our clients have their own microscope Wendy - but good idea for young vets or vet students! I’ll add it to the list...
@@farmvetfilms and go ahead farmers with an adequate education. Hey, I appreciate your prompt answers, but how do you find the time?
@@wendyrowland7787 🧐good question
llanwenog possibly??
Good guess - those woolly heads! Actually Hampshire (or Sufftex) over Blackie ewes
