oysgetseykhnt! This is my favorite Yiddish song. I know hundreds of Yiddish songs, but only a handful have inspired me to learn all the words. I have sung this to many people over the years (if I can get them to sit still for 3 minutes). Universally, people find it very moving. I praised Isabel's lovely solo version of this a year ago. But having these 4 wonderful ladies together in pure harmony takes this to another level. I'll be playing this for my Yiddish Club today (yes, Labor Day).
