Base After Base is one of my favorite levels because it has the best song (I also love xStep, and the Theory of Everything soundtracks).

Honestly, Base After Base should be the fourth level and Dry Out should be the fifth. It's really easy to learn and the song fits well with it :D

My favorites: Electroman Adventures & Hexagon Force.
+a potential Hot Take for each official level:
Stereo Madness: The original last coin route wasn't that hard
Back On Track: Easier than Stereo Madness
Polargeist: The blue pad coin isn't that bad
Dry Out: The upside down section doesn't need flipping the phone
Base After Base: The missing spike is iconic at this point and shouldn't be filled in
Can't Let Go: Easier than people say
Jumper: honestly I don't have any hot takes
Time Machine: The triple spikes aren't that hard and people who say they are just have a skill issue
Cycles: Pretty forgettable
Xstep: The blue pads in the ship part was a horrendous idea
Clutterfunk: A pretty good level
Theory Of Everything: same as Jumper
Electroman Adventures: The GOAT and the pinnacle of official level gameplay
Clubstep: The Clubstep Monsters are good but very overrated
Electrodynamix: Not as fast after discovering the 4x speed portal
Hexagon Force: The 40% isn't bad, skill issue
Blast Processing: The bwomp isn't funny anymore
Theory Of Everything 2: Easier than Clubstep
Geometrical Dominator: The memory part isn't that hard, skill issue
Deadlocked: The mishmash of gimmicks is actually good
Fingerdash: Bad deco TBH
Dash: The second spider part isn't unsightreadable and GD Colon has a massive skill issue
Explorers: It's not a 2* so the wave in the cross part is justified
The Challenge: Beating it the intended way is cooler.

My favourite level is Electroman Adventures! I can say this is pretty accurate.
as an electroman adventures lover, heres what I have to say.
I mostly like the smooth gameplay/transitions and it using past mechanics to its advantage, although its unfortunate it never uses breakable blocks. Its also the 1st level to start looking more like the modern versions and apart from 1.0, because the block combinations get way more unique.
And the song, honestly my favorite in official GD

My favorite levels are: toe 1,toe 2,Electroman adventures,Deadlocked,clutterfunk,bloodbath,bloodlust and ispywithmylittleeye cause ispy holds a special place in my heart for being the first demons I’ve tried
I have a bias against Cycles. People just talk about how Time Machine has way too many triple spikes, well if Cycles was entirely cube-based and wasn’t mainly focused on the ball, people’d be talking about IT instead. Yet I believe people dismiss this level because “it introduced the ball gamemode.” THAT’S IT?!
Btw, I’m thinking about creating an extreme demon called Particle Accelerator. If only I could even beat Clubstep first so I can verify it.

my other favorites include Blast Processing, Cycles and Polargeist
polargeists 3rd coin is complete hell, a couple years ago i got it after doing hexagon force

idk why ppl say that last ToE 2 ship is crazy hard but for me, one of the easiest parts in ToE 2. hardest section for me is the ball section with invisible blocks after the wave

Base After Base is a good level for new players with some fun and easy coins for unlocking Clubstep, TOE2, and Deadlocked. This is one of the most forgettable levels in my opinion, but I can see why some people may like it for its calm gameplay and readability.
fair enough, but like mentioned by some other comments, base after base does not add anything new to dry out, its like a bridge connecting dry out to cant let go
its harder than dry out, but much easier than cant let go, and doesnt add/do much compared to those other levels, its basically filler, although yes it is fun

tbh I think jumper is just hands down the best main level. It's chill and fun without being like painfully easy, the coins are a nice optional challenge that are still readable without being free... just really awesome.
@its-morris yeah! jumper is up there, if i where to make a tier list (stay tuned ;) then it would probably be high A or low S tier, its just an amazing level!

My fav Robtop level as i have said is clutterfunk, but Dash is a close second. My fav custom level is ispywithmylittleeye because it was technicaly my first demon since i dont count Mastergame and Abcdefg...
