I took around 1000+ attempts on Stereo Madness because I was just a small kid back then, now I'm at stage 10, and have mastered the level editor, I could've never guessed a 4€ rage platformer has thousands of hours of content.
Yeah, i remember as a kid struggling so hard on stereo madness but eventually beating it. When i did beat the level it felt so satisfying and i kept playing untill early 2.0, took a break then started playing again in 2.1 , this game really is something huh?

I can actually relate to this! I remember raging a lot on The Lightning Road in early 2019, but I still get angry sometimes, but not even close to back then. Now, in 2023, I am a victor of 5 Hard Demons, 3 Insane Demons and almost 2 Extreme Demons (Bloodbath & 55% on Acu). Great video! ;)

Yeah! Hopefully it gets reached when 2.2 comes out, theres probably an infinite amount of stages as long as the creating community keeps adapting and changing
I’ve been playing geometry dash for over 3 years now, and I remember the very day I started. Now, here I am no more than a few days ago, sitting in a chair for over 6 hours straight after finally, after almost 750 attempts, completing blast processing. A lot of people may find it strange that I almost cried with joy, but I know in my heart that I will never forget the feeling of relief and reward.
I started in the year 2017 and now I beat extreme park!
Wow thats great! Blast processing may be considered “easy” but if you feel satisfied than thats great! Remember, it doesn’t matter how hard the level is, all that matters is that you feel satisfied and happy :D (congrats on blast processing btw!)

I beat time can’t let go and moved on to dash, then back to jumper and Time Machine, then best electro man. Up next is clubstep, I got to 71 percent so far
i remember i beat xstep in 120-ish attempts toe in 80 smthing attempts but electrodynamix took me 950 attempts
My hardest is Deadlocked, and I’m grinding Nine Circles right now, and after that I’m going back to east and medium demons. 🤣

Reaching cycles in just a few days? I've been playing on and off for years and I'm celebrating my completion of Base to Base.

This reminds me of my first time playing GD in 2017, beated tons of recent levels, completed Subzero, Meltdown, World, created many levels but not upload any of them, my hardest demon was The Nightmare
Then I took a break in 2020, came back in 2021 and beat Crazy, Crazy II, spent 2 months practicing and got Leyak as my hardest demon.
I'm currently trying to beat Abel as my first Extreme Demon.
Btw, I do all of this on Mobile

When I first played geometry dash I tried every single level and thought I was the best player ever for getting 8% on clubstep
I remember getting 20% on ToE2 back when i started playing, told everyone in school like i was a god… someone showed me they beat bloodbath so that shut me up real quick

I've just recently beaten all the main levels after 3 months of playing the game. In my experience It wasn't dying near the end of the level that angered me the most, but dying early on some parts that I did flawlessly many times, actually dying late only motivated me and made me believe I could be the level (e.g. failed on 93% and right after on 95% on ToE2, and failed on 95% and 97% on Clubstep)
Can confirm stage 10. I quit somewhere around 2018 and returned just a few months before 2.2 came out. First time coming back I was really rusty I struggle to beat death moon lol. Now I just play them for fun and maybe some time in the future I could go back making levels and understanding the triggers again. :)
This video is super well done and I think it really sums up the 10 stages of a GD player ! It reminds me that I've been trying to beat a new hardest player, Bit Reaper, for 4 months now, and that it's been 2 months since I've done 93%. After about 40 failures at 80%+ and 8000 attempts, I'm completely unmotivated, I feel like I'm never going to make it. If only I could finish it one day..

Ye this is quite true, the main reason I came back to the game was 2.2 after SO LONG. I recently beat my first hard demon and will probably not quit for a while
Looking back at this video 8 months later, im shocked to see how much I improved. Im stage 10 now. After a 6 month break, I came back for the game, but i wouldn't say im stage 11. Since my return, i beat deadlocked, toe 2, and like 10 other demons. Great video ❤

I’m at stage 8 (demon slaying) and I would like to say I’m trying to beat my first extreme lost love and died at 95, 4 clicks before beating it and ended up getting a heart rate of 198. This happened yesterday and I’m scared to play it again.
Dont give up. It could take days or weeks to best it but when you do youll have closure. Once you beat that level you will feel incredibly satisfied and giving up will only make you feel worse. If you got 95 then im sure youre able to get to 100! Dont give up! :D

Im at stage 10, my hardest is Death Step, and as a Demon Grinder, I would add 15 more stages.
Stage 11: Enjoyment
The player starts enjoying the game even more, now he actually plays it for fun, whether they are a Demon grinder, Challenge completer, or Star grinder.
Stage 12: Improvement
As the demons he beat was easiest demons, he starts to go for hard easy demons, rarely easy medium demons.
Stage 13: Anger (2): Before, the rage was from normal levels, now it's from demons.
Stage 14: Rage (2):
The same but from demons
Stage 15: Medium Demons
They start beating Medium Demons, casually improving at the game
Stage 16: Hard Demons
They start beating the easiest hard demons
Stage 17: Creating
After they stop playing levels, they will want to create actual levels.
Stage 18: Return to Challenge
They return to their passion and start to improve.
Stage 19: Insane Demons
They start beating Insane Demons.
Stage 20: EXTREME DEMONS
They finally master it! Most likely with things like Cataclysm or Acu, but how good it feels to beat an extreme demon!
Stage 21A: Extreme Slayer
They form into easy extreme demon slayers.
Stage 21B: Challenge Slayer
They start beating easy extreme challenges.
Stage 21C: Pro Star Grinding
They grind stars even more, as they're good at the game now.
Stage 22: Extreme Improvements
They beat harder and harder demons, it's not easy extremes anymore, after that, they are worthy to go on the next stage...
Stage 23: List Grinder
He grinds demons like Top 150-50, turning into a great player.
Stage 24A: Top 49-10 Slayer
He starts slaying demons from Top 49-10.
Stage 24B: Challenge Slayer
At this stage, the player can grind most challenges.
Stage 24C: Star Grinder +
He finally grinds a lot of stars, enjoying doing their passion.
Stage 25: Mastery
Stage 11, but on the new stages.
Stage 26: Pure Mastery
As of the moment of writing this comment, it's Zoink. The best player in Geometry Dash, who beat the Top 1 and probably was the one that verified it.
Stage ∞: Human Limit
While now it's impossible, that doesn't mean it's impossible later. They reach the human limit, that is bigger than Tidal Wave, better than Zoink right now, in 2013, Zoink would be in Stage ∞, cuz the human limit was way weaker than Zoink's now...

I thought I was a noob like stage 2 or 3, but now being in stage 7 feels like a reward for not giving up in really hard levels for me like hexagon force, clutterfunk and more. Great video ❤

Nice I am a mix of Demon slayer and challenge completionist, completing hard demons and challenges just give me so much serotonin like today I beat Tabasco which i first saw from Nexus channel and I thought it was a really cool level and when I tried to beat it it was too hard for me I got so mad for my bad skill that I left but I returned not long ago, created a new account and grinded demons again and I completed some of my favourite Demons :)

I disagree with the auto checkpoints thing. I've had them on since i started playing the game, and I got 68% on Crazy lol.
I'm in the boredom point now i think. I just obsess over SMO, BOTW and Halo Infinite, may come back to GD in the future.

Auto checkpoints aren’t actually that bad, i used them for years but when i started grinding out easy demons i decided to turn them off. Also, iv been at the boredom stage multiple times xD i always come back after a few months or years though

I beat the first three levels, realized I hated the grinding, and moved on to creating and finding demons with secret ways. I could probably beat some OG levels but I only try X-step and blast processing XD

Honestly accurate. I got stuck at stage 4 two or three years ago and decided to take a break from the game. I felt I wasn't going anywhere (got stuck at clutterfunk, NO I'M NOT JOKING, video 100% accurate,) and too much memorization for me. Came back late last year (after watching gd CZcamsrs again) and finally decided to really try and get better. Ended up beating all the main levels in a couple of weeks. Felt amazing. Just skipped stages 5 and 6 lol. Also my demon order was hilarious. I prefer playing something fun rather than something more on my skill level (which is why I never bothered with demons like the nightmare). So I beat deadlocked, then went back and did clubstep and ToE2. After that I set my sights on the level that brought me back to the game, Absolute Garbage. So yeah that was my first community demon. Oh no... This went on a whole lot longer than I intended. I just thought it was neat that I had started playing the game on and off before even 2.1 came out, and now after 5? Years, I finally did it. If there's anything I have to say from all of this, if you're interested in playing geometry dash, just do it. It's one of the most rewarding experiences I've done, even if it's taken me a while to get there. And remember! If you don't die at the end it's a fluke! Need to make sure to beat it twice to make sure!
We have similar stories about GD, although i did actually play all the easier demons just to improve my skill. Then i thought to myself, how about i collect all 3 coins on the robtop levels at once, so i did ultimate ToE2, then did Ultimate Deadlocked and finally Ultimate Clubstep, felt amazing. I died multiple times near the end but i just shrugged it off as progress and didnt really get mad. (Also yeah i was stuck on clutterfunk for atleast a year or so lol)
Same dude. I skipped stages 5 and 6 too; I also beat deadlocked as my first demon. This was such an accurate video and it was kind of nostalgic. Coming back to GD after quitting for a year and slaying demons feels very satisfying. Definitely a great experience.

I have just started geometry dash for about a week now, and am currently stuck on hexagon force, trying to eventually beat my first demon afterwards. Hoping to beat clubstep after that. Just gotta not get tilted and stick with it
@@Purplex08fun fact: I was getting quite consistent in clutterfunk on practice mode and got 89% before beating jumper. I think I died to a bug or something but that was a a couple years ago so I cant remember. Took me 3 months after getting that 89% for me to beat it though. But, it was the first insane level I beat and I might have beat clutterfunk before cycles of time machine if I can recall correctly. After beating clutterfunk, my improvement was quite quick and I beat electrodynamix a month after clutterfunk and started grinding deadlocked a month after beating electrodynamix. Deadlocked was also my first demon, and then I beat toe 2 shortly after before beating clubstep after another few months. The level that I was stuck quite badly on was clubstep and stereo madness (took me 3 years)
I just realized that, I already experienced the 10 stages. Time flew so fast and I really love this game, no matter how many times it made my ragequit. I just need stage 11, although I doubt I really get to that point.
Im sure youll make it to stage 11 someday, and even if you dont that’s perfectly fine! Its a game after all, so just have fun :D

Bruh I want my level to be public. I haven't made an account and I live in the country that says oi mate all the time and have memes about bugs. Which problem?
I would say my journey in GD is kind of atypical. First of all, I first played GD when I was 6, and back then, I only had GD lite and meltdown. As I was a little kid I wasn't able to beat anything. Then, I got my tablet taken away and a few years later, I got GD world and that was when I beat my first level: payload, because I was older and so it was easier for me. It was also the first time I got access to online levels, so I did some levels, and my hardest at the time was a hard level. That was also one of the most important periods of time, and I remember just how fun GD was for me. After a bit of time, I also got 200 diamonds and unlocked the Challenge and some other stuff, and at that time it was a big achievement for me. Unfortunately, then I lost some of my progress, then a few years later I accidentally deleted all my save data, and I was devastated.
Then, eventually (like half a year ago) I did get the full version and I was determined to get my progress back and more. (I think one of the greatest moments in my GD journey isn't any achievement but simply getting the full version.) I found out about this level called Nine Circles and I loved it, so even though I wasn't nearly skilled enough to beat it I tried to play it and eventually got 43%. The wave part looked impossible for me, and I couldn't ever imagine myself doing it. Then, I got to the point of playing demons, and I was trying to get my first demon. Then, I found out about a level called Platinum Adventure and I got it as my first demon. I only took 1 hour to beat it though, and it didn't feel very rewarding, it just mostly fell flat. After that I was determined to beat more demons to finally actually feel accomplished and to prove that I could actually beat demons, not just 7 stars in disguise. I consider Respite to be my first real demon.
Then, one day I randomly thought about Deadlocked and felt like playing it, even though I thought I wasn't good enough for it yet. I ended up beating it in 4 days lol.
Now, after working on my skills, I went back to Nine Circles and went, "I think I can actually do this now." Now I have a run that's from the drop to like 75% of the whole wave part. I'm just looking back and comparing what NC felt like before, and this really puts into perspective how far I've gotten. I feel like when (if?) I actually beat Nine Circles it'll feel bigger than getting my first demon or anything like that.
Srage 1 and 2 are real. Stage 3 was trying to get all coins and skipped every level after 5 attempts. Then spent all my time on online levels and level building. That's how my journey went, I still only play 50% of a level and move on to next
Well i wouldn't rage in clutterfunk but it was a birthday or something and i believed clutterfunk was the hardest lvl so i tried to beat it in one day to make that day more memorable. Beated it 3 times that day, getting 1 coin each time i beat it(should have tried to get all coins at once). Played geometry dash for about 1 month that time and it was in 2021. Idk how i did it but i am proud of myself. Now here I am beating supersonic 1 years later and not looking back.💪

GD was a huge part of my childhood, and for many many other people as well, and im really glad it was.
Yeah, clutterfunk was the first big bump in difficulty that caught me off guard, i was so angry while playing it all the time, and when i finally beat it i was beyond happy

For a first demon, try the lighting road or the nightmare, and go to cresendo after (cresendo is free apart from the mini ball and the part before needs a bit of practice but after free)

Been playing for almost 10 months. I have over 8000 stars, about to complete the demon gauntlet in like 4 days (I'm at HeLL) and Nine Circles as my hardest. I definitely feel that a I've improved a lot since my last demon completion, He'll (outside the gauntlet) so much so that I beat Sidestep, Traction, Mechanical Showdown, Vibration as well as rebeat them in 2 days.

I have beaten windy landscape a month ago, but I jumped it from beating 35 easy demons, now I have BuTiTi II and Dark Travel to do (btw I got 74% in BuTiTi II and 52% in Dark Travel), also, my first demon is deadlocked, just wanted to throw that out there lmao

im the type of player that started off the last levels. my first level to finish was of course stereo madness, but then, i wanted to make the hard ones and tried fingerdash. i was so confused at the first time, but by playing it 30 mins a day in a month, i knew what things do. i completed this level after another month.
Legend says that one still awaits beating the “hardest level” in the game. Returning would take a miracle. Even though they’ve practically killed fingers…. What exactly does “Dash” and “Finger” mean? Only time will tell…

stage 8D: they use their new found skill to make levels, also known as creators, some people see levels that they beat, and are like "Hey, I want to make a level that's perfect for me, perfect difficulty, perfect decoration, perfect everything" the people who think like that, tend to become creators, people like these, are the people who keep every other type of player in the game, some are better than others, some change back to stage 8A, 8B, 8C, and the final few... well they quit for good...

I haven't completed a Demon, but I've got 100% on every practice, completed levels 1-8, 10, 17 and 22, gotten 30+ stars and made a solid attempt at every other level.
Haven't raged (yet), but am putting effort into learning from mistakes and have never spammed checkpoints like a pleb
My GD journey began in 2015. On my way to university, I would play some cookie-clickers with ads in the subway. In one of these ads, there was a preview of the first level of 'GD: Meltdown,' and it seemed quite fun to me. I thought to myself, 'There's no way this isn't just another scammy ad; the gameplay is probably completely different, as usual.' However, I decided to give it a try anyway, since I was already in the habit of downloading other scammy mobile games. To my surprise, the gameplay was exactly the same as in the ad. It took me almost a month of trips to and from the university, plus a few sleepless nights, to beat all three levels, and oh boy, was I satisfied when I did it. I started to research more about what this game was and learned that Meltdown is just a spin-off of the Geometry Dash game.
After that, I downloaded Geometry Dash Lite, and it took me another few months to beat all those levels as well. Then I learned that there are custom levels and a whole community of other players (yes, for real, only now!). To my surprise, nobody in my university knew about the game, so I thought it wasn't really popular. Oh, how wrong I was... So, I decided to buy the full version of the game. I had a lot of fun playing custom levels, and then 2.1 came out, etc.
Sadly, after that, I graduated, got a job, and wasn't able to devote enough time to the game to become very good. I've never beaten a demon level; the closest I've come is about 80%. But I still play it as a placeholder activity when I have nothing else useful to do. Luckily for me, even though I'm practically stuck at the hard/harder difficulty and rarely play insane levels, thanks to the community, there are almost an infinite number of levels that suit my skill level. To this day, this game still entertains me. Maybe I'll give demon levels another try after I retire or have more spare time. I hope my brain will still be working fine then, but there's no way to know that for sure, huh.
I am probably between stages 7, 8, and 9. I have been playing since 2017 and have only beaten The Lightning Road (yes I'm kinda bad at the game). I am not a fan of demons and mostly play challenges. Also, I quit the game one time for like 1.5 years. The 6 years of playing, I only made an account a few months ago. Great video!

After 100 days after making the new account, I beat 15 demons!

This video is very informative. Some of these parts are accurate to my experience. I guess I'm a stage 8A/8B player, but I don't really expect getting to stage 9 soon.
Thats good. Just keep playing and eventually youll get to stage 11 (and maybe skip stage 9/10)

I remember back in the day when i was playing on my phone, it took me over 2,000 attempts to beat Clutterfunk, and over 3,000 to beat Clubstep and i was raging so hard, then when i tried ToE 2 i beat it relatively easily thanks to the skill boost from Clubstep :)
8:40 i spent 3/4 of a year beating deadlocked on my phone and when i beat it literally could only hear my heartbeat cuz i was so stressed
i also accidentally paused at 89% so when i did i thought i died and was getting even more stressed

I remember finally doing Ultimate Deadlocked (complete deadlocked with all 3 coins, i chose to collect all 3 in 1 attempt) and then when i beat it at like 2 in the morning a yelled, woke up my parents and got in trouble but i was so happy cus i finally did it! (I was also a mobile player at the time)

I think when you strat the game you have not the bar and percentage, I think after about 1 or 2 days they find out about the icon kit and practice mode. Not that late, also I think after about 3 days they find out about user levels and map packs, not that late like you shown.

He for got stage 8D the creator: the will either try to make the hardest levels they can exhaust, try to get a rated level(or more), or just build to build. And stage 8E mixed: they do a bit of everything
Okay so stage 8E, is just all the stages together so theres no need for it, 8D on the other hand is covered in the sequel of this video, “10 Stages of Every Geometry Dash Creator”, not player.

this is very relatable. The hardest level I have beaten was Clubstep (approx 1,500 -1,600 attempts) but I did find the game to be more challenging and and even before that, after almost beating Fingerdash a while ago, I raged so hard that I almost completely broke my device. Despite finding many new awesome creator levels, it's almost hard for me to feel the same amount of excitement as when I beat levels like Polargeist and Electroman Adventures. I only have two main levels left but I do find some levels to be absolutely awesome (I recommend Nantendo). Earned a new sub bro.

i can VERY relate to the last ones. I started a break from gd when i beat nine circles cus beating a hard demon was my main goal. When i did it i took a 7 month break from gd returning with a mindset like "i wanna beat a extreme so bad" so then i started grinding windy landscape for my 1st insane demon (it took me only like 3h in total it is not an insane demon imo) but i still was very satisfied. Then i jumped to acu from windy landscape. And after 2 weaks of work i beat acu. I had 97x7. Such a relief. Also im not typa person that reacts when beats a level so i just said like "yessss" and thats it.
