  • My EUC Electric Unicycle Journey - 3 weeks later.... Begode T4 Pro
-I've had my wheel now for three weeks 4/21/24-5-12-24. Have not been on it as much as I wish to be, but my skill level is improving!

For my 50th birthday I bought myself a Onewheel Pint. I can skate just fine, but the Onewheel scared the hell out of me. That rounded tire was wobbling my feet back and forth like crazy, and I felt like I was really going to hurt myself; VERY different from a skateboard. Felt like a 2X4 balancing on a basketball. So I replaced it with an Eskate, and then another one, and then I got a Gotway Tesla T2. I found the EUC was easy to learn, took about 1.5 hours before I could ride around the local school. Much longer to get proficient. At some point I tried my neighbor's Pint again, and this time I just got on and could ride it just fine.

We all felt that way at first. It all just takes time and dedication. :)

I just picked up my first wheel - V11 - and am having difficulty getting started, but I’ll get there with the rest of y’all. I’m in Lansing, so it’s good to see an euc video from a Michigan rider!

My buddy Paul Dennis has the V12 (as you can see in the other videos). He hit 1000 miles on it last night. Keep practicing let us know we will come down and ride with ya!

hey @dennismyers1014. I just got my new V11Y 2 weeks ago. I am at same stage as this guy. Its challenging and I seem to experience same issues as all of you. My ankles are hurting and bruised also from the footboards banging my leg. I practice daily but some days I am better than other days. Its mind programming.

Just retired and a month of daily riding, 100 miles and relaxed, I no longer pinch the wheel with legs 😊. No more foot/back ache.
Deffo too much red but that will hide the blood while learning, try blue and yellow for when the ankle strikes and shin whacks arrive.
Keep it up mate yr doing great, its a proper gas when you crack it.

Pad placement and Riding Boot/Shoe are game changers. After riding since 2022 I finally have it figured out (PowerKnobz) I really like to half squat / Lean into turns. Riding with a 360 selfie stick eventually becomes natural. Always nice to see the journey of a new EUC rider 🤙
Don't worry about the "umms/ahhs" we all do it. Keep it up!

Hey thank you very much for the positive encourage! Cheers my friend! We have been talking about those power knobs! What ones exactly do you recommend?

@@brandonmichael369 I went with the "One piece Fusion Powerknobz" Having one piece minimizes the chance of shifting on the velcro

Nice I got the same wheel. Got mine on 4/13/24 I have 65 miles on it now. Once I figured out, I was standing to far back my feet didn't get so sore. Pretty much hang my toes over the front of peddle. I still have stock pads but I cut lower part off and raised it up so my feet could go under and forward. I got mine so far to 28 mph. I still get some wabbles. Fun learning journey.

Hey try adjusting that horizontal a couple clicks negative in the settings as well. That will position your stance forward a bit more. Way more comfortable cruising that way!
