Thank you Mick Fleetwood for honoring Peter Green. You are the only one that loved him enough to do this and your other project Mick Fleetwood And Friends. Rick Vito does him justice. You are a true friend and human being.

в этой песенке в оригинале всю гитару делал Danny Kirwan. Green придумал тему. но если мы обсуждаем гитаристов, то реплика мала-мала некорректна) это лучшая версия после Danny, а, может, лучшая ваще)
It's a testament to a great song that so many different players can take it and do an incredible job of it. I thought this Rick Vito performance was most excellent.
fuck ive watched this 4 times dam this is beautiful love this guitarist love this band. only a bunch of mature musicians could come up with something like this. like it cause its modern and u can hear it. so now ive heard the 3 best versions since the 60's and they are all perfect so if anyone wants to argue meet me after school
Rick Vito has played with Fleetwood Mac, John Mayall, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Seger, Jackson Browne, Roger McGuinn, and many, many others in addition to recording several fine solo albums. Great guitarist and singer.
I agree but this is more Santana than Pete G. Bye the bye, Pete often said he preferred the Carlos version to his original blues. Don’t know the guitarist on this , he’s proficient but doesn’t have Petes expressive feel.
Mick is such a great shuffle player. I'm not a blues drummer so much, but he defines it. It really is where his soul is and I think that's why he has such a reverence for the early Mc period.
Well I'm a bit late finding this, but better late than never! I'm the biggest P.G. fan alive and love his tone, but this is tremendous! Great audio quality and the musicianship is first class. The guitar tone pays homage to the great man but the guy puts his own stamp on it as well. Bravo!
Don't understand some of these comments. So this guy is shit because he doesn't use exactly the same tone as PG? I think he does a magnificent job of playing with a lot of the old feeling in the beginning but making the guitar work his own later on. And it looks like Mick Fleetwood agrees with me if his body language and grin are anything to go by. A good hat tip to the original but original in its own right, and all the better for it. And yes, I do use a LP/Marshall setup on occasion and I love it. I'm surprised no one has said he should use a PRS/Boogie setup.
Agreed. It would surely be a boring world if everyone had to play the original version never exploring the endless possibilities. I like this I also like the 2018 version by Mike Campbell who has breathed new life into Fleetwood Mac.
A very fine rendering and homage to early Fleetwood Mac ! This line-up are very good and do some of their own work which is worth listening to ! Oh and Mick's drummin' is really good !
+James Lloyd You mean the initial band. Fleetwood Mac is a real band in every configuration as long as the namesake members Mick Fleetwood and John McVie are in it.
Brilliant ..drummer N bassist were perfectly matching tempo n pace . Seamlessly making harmony. Switching from chacha to blues and not missing a beat. Tempo slow to fast to soft and then pickup tempo all in perfect unison. Soooo smooth foot tapping head nodding instrument fusion just listening. Guitarist just allowing his fingers to express n runs came out soulful n beautiful. Just don't get better than this when band feels music together.
this was an original song that he shared with Santana it was called the english gypsy rose or something similar, written by peter green in 1968, rest his soul, before Santana changed its name... the sound is all theirs...mick and peter green are legends and always will be R.I.P. Peter... Thankyou for all you taught us about music and thank you for your deep soul. I had the privilege of meeting Peter at 14 years old in Richmond Surrey England and bought him a cake and he would talk with me every week about every subject and I learned a great deal, then as fate would have it I met Mick after performing at the Blues festival in Australia a few years ago and we travelled down to Melbourne where he played with his own band after finishing the Blues ...legendary thank you guys so blessed to have met you both on this journey of ours... happy trails Mick and keep up the gigs the world needs you more now than ever man....thank you thank you thank you Your AMAZING!
Nice! (not "The Nice"-remember them? haha) A fine performance by all, and praiseworthy. Peter Green's songwriting is a fine blueprint for many musicians.
I much prefer this real version by Mick and Ric Vito to Santanas version. This version recognizes the real genius of Peter Green and that is what is real and played as it should be an ever lasting song.
Listen Blackmagicwoman at Roundhouse chalkfarm ,one said : Peters tone sounds like a bolt lighting from Zeus 💥💥💥, yeeees!!! ( still Ricks playing takes more pleasure then the other imitaters but there was only one P.G.!!!

This was a truly worthy performance. God bless Peter, if you heard this somewhere up there, I bet you liked it too. Thank you for writing this song.
Yes, it's easily done to forget that Peter Green , basically wrote this CLASSIC .
There is only one Peter Green, but Rick Vito is a superlative artist who honours Green while injecting his own unique feel into classic FM songs.
в этой песенке в оригинале всю гитару делал Danny Kirwan. Green придумал тему. но если мы обсуждаем гитаристов, то реплика мала-мала некорректна) это лучшая версия после Danny, а, может, лучшая ваще)
Imagine Peter Green, Rick Vito, and Bob Weston jamming out on this song back in the day.
That Guitar TONE is actually beautiful😮😯😲and that Guy can Sing.😎😎😎
Very very!! Mick moves Rick, Rick moves Mick and Lenny and Mark - what we call a fantastic Band!? Then play on!!!
Love Rick Vito great player and singer
Rick Vito is the man, deep respect for him, wonderful player !
I love Rick Vito's tone and phrasing and nobody does the double shuffle better than Mick.

Simply superb. Mick is an underrated drummer for sure.
Rick Vito has played with Fleetwood Mac, John Mayall, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Seger, Jackson Browne, Roger McGuinn, and many, many others in addition to recording several fine solo albums. Great guitarist and singer.
He is a RIPPER. 👍
As a P Green Fleetwood Mac 'lifer'. This very good, and something of gracious relief to the ear and soul. Does the tune justice.
I agree but this is more Santana than Pete G. Bye the bye, Pete often said he preferred the Carlos version to his original blues. Don’t know the guitarist on this , he’s proficient but doesn’t have Petes expressive feel.
Fleetwood hasn’t lost a thing in his 70’s.
Mick Fleetwood; it is thanks to you that I fell in love with the music you and Fleetwood Mac play
Mick is such a great shuffle player. I'm not a blues drummer so much, but he defines it. It really is where his soul is and I think that's why he has such a reverence for the early Mc period.
Aww, This is fabulous. It captures the heart and soul of Peter Green Perfectly
I Think That, Rick Vito Did a Great Job Playing & Singing This Classic Peter Green, Tune
Beautiful guitar work and I am a huge Green fan.
Simply awesome.
beautiful and magic
why do people need to compare him to peter green? - I don't get it. Great version in its own right. period.
Love Fleetwood's grove.
Die bisher beste Version - aber wo sind all die Bongotrommeln geblieben?
Dieser Danny DeVito ist jedenfalls ein Meistergitarrist!

Great guitar playing, no it's not PG but this is blistering keyboards, guitar & drums. There again, you can get your ears syringed 😜😎
@@frederickpritchard994
Syringed ears? Now that is one expression I never heard before ! 😂
Bang on , beautiful tone !
Great version - really tight.
Rick playing with the soul❤❤❤

rick vito is great ; shows max of respect to peter G
I think this guy sounds great and I would take him over that massive fuzz sound Santana gets
GReat version... haters got too
many mouths
not enough EARZ

A very fine rendering and homage to early Fleetwood Mac ! This line-up are very good and do some of their own work which is worth listening to ! Oh and Mick's drummin' is really good !
How can this masterpiece version has only 528 views ????
Listened to quite a few Fleetwood blues band tracks. They are great. Rick Vito does the job really well.
Call and answer between the guitar and the organ while Mick pops those accents perfectly.
That's the very BEST versión for muy.
Morceau toujours formidable, on ne s'en lasse pas
I was lucky enough to go to this gig. It's the closest you can get to a real Fleetwood Mac gig.
+James Lloyd You mean the initial band. Fleetwood Mac is a real band in every configuration as long as the namesake members Mick Fleetwood and John McVie are in it.
Fantastic playing
