Moore must be one of the most underated guitarist ever (if not the most underated). He could play anithing, from classic blues, he invented rock blues (what Bonamassa embraced), hard rock, jazz, etc... and he was a master in all of that. Rarely you see such a guitarist.
John Mayall he is an absolute legend who gave so many legendary players a chance to shine and we have the late great GM on stage with John and buddy .. .what a treat for music lovers

To me Gary Moore and John mayall means alot because i may not have much experience in this life at 26 but sadly last year I lost the greatest young love I'll ever know ... But at least Gary and a few other acts I have discovered are strictly for myself as selfish at it seems I mean it in the sense of they are the bands and artists that soothed my broken soul when I was locked in a deep and tormenting depression , the music was all I had and to this day still all I have at times when they get hard again The blues is always there in my heart and soul ♾️ I'm just an old blues boy after all so young but I feel so old like my days are already over ... For me the ultimate music is the Blues. I love the American and English Blues which makes me happy and sad at the same time. I really think God sent it to us to relive our pain from this evil world.
Gary is my all time favorite guitar player... He was a relaxed perfectionist in my view which lead to his playing be magical in his own unique way like no one else and made him the best contemporary blues guitar player of his generation in my humble opinion. I also even loved his 80s rock guitar work above any other player at the time - Wild Frontier was a true masterpiece.
This song is just SO DEEP and SOULFUL it makes you appreciate the level of musicianship that GARY possessed! John’s singing is the icing on the cake. This video is a REAL GEM, and we are so fortunate to have it!

This a great jam session, love how Johns vocals started the story with wee licks from Gary, which helped build up to Buddy’s great solo, which opened the doors for Gary tae guide us all through and close behind us , true musicians that are rare to find these days
