You can use an app like Audacity or the voice recorder app that comes with Windows!
It should just be called “voice recorder”

My brother bought a microphone few months ago. At first the sound was great. After a few months it got worse. I don't know why and how to fix it. It picks every sound in the room but if I get further from it, my voice doesn't really go thru. Also it's not clear (kinda echoes and you can hear it a little static).... please

my laptop only has a headphone jack, my dad was able to get the mic working anyway by setting it up as a headset mic but now it doesn't work, it connects but doesnt pick up any audio

I bought a USB mic for my youtube channel. How do you record your voice and save it so you can edit it later on your recorded clips? I'm recording my vidoes on my phone and I want to record my voice via the mic on my laptop so that I can blend them together in a video editing software and create a video where I'm talking. How does that happen? Thanks

What I do is I record all of my audio in Audacity (I have tutorials to install and set it up if needed). Then I edit them together on DaVinci Resolve

Hi! My question is how to record sound on PC? When I choose the recorder app it says I have to set up a mic, but it is already set up and works well!
I don’t think you can use the recorder app for PC sound, you’ll need a different app

this might be a dumb question, but I have a Tonor microphone hooked up for Skype. A friend was asking if it's possible to use it for your computer, in Windows, for giving it commands, like opening certain things online. It doesn't sound possible, but I'm checking it out for him
If you mean like voice commands, you should be able to use Cortana for a lot of things.

That's strange. I can't think of any reason that it would suddenly stop working. Is it just discord that it doesn't work on or is it any app? Maybe test it with the voice recorder app
