Thanks for watching! The best part is that it works. That is always a concern when you design on the fly.

Thanks 👍it was a fun build. Delivered it to my son and he was thrilled. MSC lists one for sale and it is over $300. That almost makes it worth building it LOL

I used the same style tool in the mounain bike repair shop years ago. They work very well.

When I dropped it off at the shop where my son works he showed me the commercial tool that one of the other techs had. It was much lighter duty. This really works great and could be used on steel also. Thanks for commenting.

Great build Steve. Check out the prices of pipe cutters these days...That design would make a great pipe cutter version IMHO! Happy New Year, hope you got my channel stickers recently.

The Knurlmaster from McMaster is $200. It only cost $400 for labor and material to build this one LOL. I just dropped it off to my son at work. The other techs are jealous. I got the stickers and will be opening them in my next Shark Bits. I think that I owe you a set of mine. Thanks for stopping by.

@@sharkrivermachine I missed the first part of the video where you mentioned costs and pipecutter when I went to get a coffee...thanks for the explanation.

I wondered why you didn't make it with a bigger throat to accept bigger material. The bike deal explained that.

The normal size would be around 27MM with the maximum of 1 1/4". In hindsight I should have made it a little larger but as it turns out in comparing it to the tool that they were currently using in the shop it is a beast. The other techs were jealous. I think that it will get a lot of use. Thanks for stopping by and Happy New Year.
