- Mike on his 2023 Ski-Doo Renegade X-RS 850, Jesse, Kostia and Jeff make their way back to Cochrane after a morning backcountry ride. We take the TOP A, bypass the closed sections on the shoulder of Hwy 11, and then took a ride down the L123 through moonbeam. Stopped for lunch at Ellie's Bistro in Smooth Rock Falls, our new favourite place to eat! Mike and Jesse head back south, and Jesse is back to school in New York in a few days.

Very cool! I really enjoyed this video & shared it with my mom, sister, uncle & cousin! 👍
Awesome! Thank you! Cheers, Mike
Ah Mike! Making me miss that Lynx 😊
Ha! Yes it was pretty awesome! Cheers buddy. Mike
Awesome ride!, we just got back from a weekend trip in Sudbury, trails were mint!
Glad to hear it Rob! Sudbury has an awesome network of trails. Appreciate you watching our content! Cheers, Jesse
Jesse you are always heading to eat,or leaving someplace complaining how full you are!! 😂😂😂 Thanks for the great video 👍
haha you've got a point! But that is sledding. You ride, then eat, then ride, then eat, then sleep and ride again! Cheers, Jesse
Had an Lynx Re last year. Such a fun sled.
It was a blast! Cheers, Jesse
Got keep your energy up Jesse! ☃️👍👍
Haha yep! Cheers, Jesse
This video has me pumped for this weekend. Leaving first thing in the morning for north bay for my first big weekend of the season
Sweet! How was your trip? Cheers, Jesse
@@sledaddicz it was great we went out to Mattawa then up to Tilden lake and back down to north bay. Trails in north bay were skinny but once you got to the other side of trout lake they were perfect
@@andrewjoyce3634 awesome! Glad to hear you had a good time brother. Cheers, Jesse
We are still watiting for the rivers to freeze here in eastern NB....chompin at the bit to get out...enjoyed the vid boys!!!
Thanks! Glad you liked it. Everything frozen up now after the freeze? Cheers, Jesse
@@sledaddicz Getting closer....we can at least get the smelt shack out on the ice...but some river crossing are still dangerous. We'd have to trailer to northern NB. It's been a weird winter here...very warm.
@@playden70 and now its getting warmer again here in ontario. + temps all week in southern ontario. We only got going over a week ago and now its basically done. brutal. Cheers, Jesse
Just did this exact ride two days ago. Ellie's was fantastic, smooth rock was out of premium, the heated garage at the companion was great to thaw out the sleds.
Yep! It's a great ride that's for sure just wish they'd get us more premium! Cheers Mike
@@sledaddicz you'd think they would have a bigger tank or order it more frequently in the winter since it's such a popular spot!
@@BCJ371 I thought the same thing! Apparently they are the last stop on the gas delivery so they always get less then they want..
I was the red rev at the smooth rock gas station lol
Haha awesome. Why didn't u come say hey!
@@sledaddicz I would of but I didn’t know it was you at the time. Next time lol.
@@Wyatt-sw5yq haha thats understandable! ya forsure. Cheers, Jesse
Any time travelling through smooth rock make sure to stock up on a couple bottles of octane boost. For some reason they never have prem or sometimes no gas at all. Ellie's has the best food ever, my nephew Eric is the chef and owner, awesome young man.
Lol get their soup of the day
Yep. Constantly running out. Eric is awesome. I love that he comes out and chats with the customers. Very personable. Cheers, Jesse
Great video guys! And Mike did that adjustment you made to the rear spring on that guys sled make a difference?
Thanks Harold. Yup of course it did!
2nd of Jan? Is this footage from the beginning of the year? also What is the latest with the 7400 rpm issue since its been some time now. Did you get it resolved?
Yes this is from our December break actually. There is a bulletin for the RPM issue which is an ecu update. Cheers, Mike
@@sledaddicz did you cut your snowflap at all on the new Gen5. Mine seems overly long -- 7.5" to the ground when suspension is fully extended. -- to me it looks like it could catch and be a problem when it bottoms out
@@nwmi493 nope our flaps are stock. 7.5" is normal. Bottomed hard many times and never hurt my flap at all. Cheers, Jesse
