Bienvenido to La Romana! We originally made plans to tour a cigar factory via Cigar Country Tours. But when that fell through, our taxi driver saved the day and took us to a local cigar factory, Cornelio Cigars. Back on the ship, we enjoyed some time at the Dr. Seuss Waterworks!

Have you ever had a taxi driver save the day for you while you were in port? We always seem to luck out and get great taxi drivers 🍀🤞
We visited St Maarten in 2018 and through a mix up our private tour left before we disembarked. We walked around the port area and stumbled upon a taxi driver offering his services. For a price cheaper than the private tour we got a personal tour around the island for 2 people going at our own pace. The taxi broke down twice and nearly ran out of gas. Downpour of rain. It was by far one of the best shore excursions we’ve ever done!!! He recommended a great place to eat at after our adventure.
That is awesome! 🙌🏽 Every taxi driver we have ever used has been amazing with either getting us somewhere cool and unexpected or saving the day with a private tour. 🤗
I would like to know where u able to bring the cigar back on the cruise to your cabin or do they keep them until the last day
He brought all the cigars back to the cabin 😬 even smoked one the next day in the smoking area onboard. They only take liquor if you buy it in port 👍🏾

Absolutely!!! Carnival’s water park is very family friendly. The parents are usually splashing around just as much as the kiddos 😬

Not a cigar aficionado. I truly hope we meet you two one of these days. The fun and zest for living comes through. When looking for excursions do you start with what you want for example the Apotek in Aruba? Keep doing your thing.
We would love to meet everyone 🤗 thanks so much! When we look at excursions, it depends on whether we have been there before. If we haven’t been there before, we try to do something that let’s us explore and see as much as we possibly can. The case with Aruba, we have been there before but wanted to explore a bit more. 😬 So that’s why we got the jeep. And, we wanted to find something cool because we would be in port so late. So that’s when we start looking at the stuff we are interested in. Because I’m a chef, we started looking for restaurants. And that google search led to craft cocktails 🙌🏽

Hello! I really enjoy your videos!! I am going on a cruise in a couple of months and I have watched your videos of the islands of where my cruise is going to stop, so now I have an idea of what those islands look like, I love it!!!! I have a question for you, do you just walk out of the port and find a taxi? Like for this cigar factory, how did you find out about going there and how to get there?
That is exactly what you do! There are taxis available right outside of the port. The cigar factory was the Cornelios Cigars and it was a recommendation from our taxi driver. We were originally trying to go to a different cigar factory but there was a power outage so it was closed. So the taxi driver saved the day! It was maybe 5-10 minutes from the port. 🫶🏽
