Thank you for watching. Yeah, our cruise was perfectly timed to grab this video. We feel our video is one of the first if not the first. I do have another tour of it once everyone is there and pool full. We will go over food from food trucks etc etc in it.

I'm sure it's a huge change. This pool was opened two weeks prior to our arrival. Brand new!

I think out of the 4 ports, this is the one we will stay on the ship at. We can drink (with the cheers) and eat for free and have better access to pool loungers. 😂

Was there in March 2020 on the Horizon. Made the mistake of leaving the port and going into the city to the flea market. OMG, it was a nightmare, never will leave the port area again.

@dianeroyster6185 the vendors at the flea market were so aggressive. If you were talking to another vendor, the would grab you by the arm and take you to their booth. Then another vendor would grab you and tell you not to look at that crap and come to mine. The place was a grab and pony show. We got in the van and went back to the port. Never again.
@@rayray6820 Wow, that sounds really miserable. When I go shopping I like to enjoy myself and I wouldn't enjoyed that at all. People pulling on you back and forth, I would of left also. I don't like people pulling on me, that was so tacky and rude of them. Thanks for sharing the details with me. Have a good weekend.
I'm glad they are upgrading this port. I was there in December and I was not impressed.
Was the pool open when you went in December? We were there in January and told pool had only been opened a couple weeks?
Take a taxi to the free beach Kukka Beach, you can walk right into the ocean but you have to get there early it gets crowded.

Thanks for this video, very helpful as I had no idea what to find. Our final destination is Punta Cana, do you know if there are buses, taxis, etc you can catch right from here?

What time did you get there? There are still chairs available and just curious if it was still very early?
In this video we got off the ship as soon as departure was allowed. It does get crowded. I will post another video tour later in day when pool is more crowded. Thank you.

How were the prices for the bucket of beer and other drinks ?
I believe it was $25 for six of their local beers. It was more for name brand beer.
Do you happen to remember the price of the drinks? Will be there in November and trying to get a budget together for it :)
Bucket of beer was $25 for six beers. Drinks were about the same as cruise ship. 10-15 per drink.

Did you have to pay for the pool chairs
No charge……only charge is for umbrella around pool. Of course food and drinks are a charge.
How much was the fee to get into the pool? Is it open to any of the passengers off of different ships.
It is free to those ships in port that day. They get you on drinks. They are cheaper than somewhere like Amber Cove.

We were the only ship. I'm not sure they could handle two ;-)
Can kids get into this pool?
Sure…..but adults will need to supervise. It actually gets a little deeper than most …..around 4.5 to 5ft deep.
...and no one would stamp my passport 😒
