  • This is NOT part of the 2nd Z/28 in Garnet Red being restored on this channel
This video is Part 5 of my 69 Camaro Z28 Full Frame Off Restoration Video Series. This video features the final preparation of the body and body panels before everything is moved into the paint spray booth for the final painting of the original beautiful Lemans Blue Color. I will be showing each step of the restoration process of this restoration in real time. I hope it will be enjoyable and informative and I welcome all comments and input. I have posted more videos on the disassembly of this 69 Camaro Z28 showing the Dash Disassembly and both the front and rear suspension removal.

Was wondering if you used NOS parts or aftermarket parts or combination of both. I have the same car X33 for 40 years enjoying your videos. Thanks Dan

Hi Daniel, I am trying at all costs, to use NOS or Restored parts as much as I can. I will only use aftermarket stuff if there is no other option and if they are "assembly line correct" and are proven and excepted by the Camaro Community and judges. Examples are weatherstripping, seat covers, carpet, exhaust systems, and things like that, that can't really be restored. But things like body parts, painted parts, chrome parts etc. that can be restored, I would rather keep it original or NOS. I will be doing a video very soon on the date coded parts that I have for this car that are original, restored or NOS.
      Thanks Daniel, good question

No mask when spraying? But had one on his neck when blocking, a great help, not.

That was his choice. The body shop is not my shop. So, its none of my business if he does or doesn't wear a mask when he is working. These videos are only about the car.
