Hey Jamie, I stumbled across your song looking for some live Nirvana. Nirvana is the reason I became a musician when I was 13 in 1993 and that's what I became and never waivered. Now I'm 44 and my love and passion for music hasn't changed. I really am enjoying your 2 tributes. Well done.

Everyone was just blown away
I had the same feeling when first hearing it, blown away! At that time I couldn’t possibly imagine Nirvana actually getting better as they were already perfection in my eyes, and then they did unplugged and launched themselves into outer space!!
@@jamiebrice6330 the BIG supermarkets & clothing companies (sweat box trade) are selling Nirvana t shirts, so theres kids & mums everywhere wearing pink Nirvana stuff in UK 🇬🇧, my 12 yr old daughter is a super fan of kurt, she asks anyone she sees wearing a Nirvana T-shirt to name a Nirvana tune(exept come as you are)
To which the usual reply is"i thought its a brand not a band🙈gosh maan🙈
She sure puts them right & educates them..mabey pink Nirvana T-shirt are a good thing ? May it keep the memories & awesome music & awesome but tragic story alive, kurt was a genius & a respectful beautiful man..im reliving my passion for Nirvana with my daughter,im learning so much more i never knew.

Well I found this little gem and asked myself.." how did I go 43 years without ever hearing this Cobain song?" Then I read the description LOL. I see some people think this is out of line....but I think this song is fantastic. Not sure what the writers voice would sound like singing this song but I'm sure Kurt's voice is just as good and likely better....no offense JB. Yes this filter isn't exactly like the real voice....but it had me fooled and I've listened to Nirvana since I was 15 yrs. old. To the haters....I'm not sure where the hate is coming from...the artist clearly states in the description that it's not Kurt singing the song.....so what's the big deal? I for 1 miss the voice of Kurt and enjoyed hearing a new song from the man...even if it was short lived and too good to be true
Thanks broot1375! The original song with my own vocals will be out on CZcams music, Spotify, Amazon music etc within a couple of weeks but I’ll be the first to admit that Kurt’s voice gives the song much more impact and atmosphere.

Hi mvortex, I wrote the words and music and recorded the song in my home studio. I applied a Kurt voice filter to my own vocals.
This is just an opinion from an old Nirvana fan. No hard feelings and praise to you for honoring Kurt's spirit.
I appreciate the attempt to create a song that sounds like Nirvana, but why pass yourself off as Kurt Cobain? Maybe you could put your own name and picture with "tribute" or "a version of what Nirvana would sound like using filters" in the caption so it wouldn't be so misleading. Don't get me wrong... I liked the song. It sounds great. It's as if Kurt took vocal lessons to clean up his voice. The music sounds nice, too. Very clean with a grungy acoustic edge. You have a lot of talent if this is your true voice and you're actually playing the instruments. Although it's kind of sad that the song was created using filters.
My first reaction when I heard the song was, "Holy shit! Why haven't I heard this before?" Then I thought, "This sounds kind of fake. " So, I read the comments and discovered it is fake. It's a tribute. A would-be, AI generated, filtered copy of one of the most influential and iconic performers of the 20th century. Disappointment set in, then I read some of the other comments and realized how important this man was/is to so many people, and my reaction changed to appreciation with a little apprehension. I hate that AI is taking over, and there are so many fake pictures and music out there pretending to be originals, but they're not. I'm just waiting for skynet to take over and judgment day to come, but I digress.
Maybe you should try recording the song with your original voice and instruments to get a true reaction out of people. Who knows, someone might recognize you as being the next iconic grunge performer next to Kurt Cobain.
Like I said, this is just my opinion. Take it with a grain of salt. Who am I to judge anyway?
Hi hollieshea, thank you so much for your comment! This is the kind of detailed constructive criticism that I love to receive. It is a tribute song that is as real as I could make it. I recorded all of the instruments in my home recording studio. I sang the vocals and then applied a filter to make them sound like Kurt. I also worry about the Skynet scenario but I feel that AI is unfortunately here to stay so I want to use it to create something positive. I have actually released the original version of the song with my own voice via Bandlab distribution but it takes a few weeks to make it to the music streaming platforms. Hopefully it will be on CZcams music soon.

We had something similar happen in the Radiohead community with someone supposedly releasing the "full" version of a long anticipated soundcheck song called Wake Me Before They Come.
the guy only added [A.I.] to the title after getting a decent chunk of views, still mad about that.

I also wondered the same. But, after listening to it over again... yep I believe it was his recording.! I also hear the pain and struggle with it too. His talent was endless. But so was the fame that followed it.
That isn't even passable as kurt neither the man pictured or the voice. This is insulting to Kurt whose soul is with me living again through the world and this makes him disgusted that he world evergreen be compared or that you would think Kurt belongs in the same class as this man. Kurt's got the most famous voice of all time and he didn't shred it to have it passed off as anything else.
