  • What is Mobileye? The Technology Driving Your Car. What is Mobileye? What is Mobileye EyeQ? What is ADAS? What is Autonomous Vehicles 2022? When will Mobileye IPO? Why did Intel buy Mobileye? Self Driving Cars 2022 are becoming more of a reality in the modern world and Mobileye are one of the largest companies in the world when it comes to Autonomous Vehicles 2022, and yet most people have never heard of Mobileye and their EyeQ chip. Self Driving Car Technology has come a long way since Mobileye was founded by Amnon Shashua back in 1999, but now, Mobileye have created ADAS, solutions which help drivers to stay focused on the road, through real time alerts and emergency manoeuvres to improve road safety and driver awareness. Mobileye IPO'd back in 2014 at a $5billion valuation, however they were acquired by Intel in 2017 for $15bn. Now in 2022, Intel are trying to get their money back after an unsuccessful acquisition which has left the two companies operating quite independently of each other. But What is Mobileye, When will Mobileye IPO in 2022 and how did Mobileye start?

6:00 "However, Intel are not so happy [...] their acquisition four years ago has not produced the success it had first hoped for."
6:30 "Intel see the acquisition as a success"
    isn't this contradictory?
also the 15bn number at 6:09 is wrong, the new ipo valuation is $50bn (estimated).
