Thanks for the video. Very clear an easy to understand. Really appreciate taking a different angle on the lights as well.
For the flickering, GTR sells a module that will put the lights on full when running DRL to prevent the flickering.
Xenondepot sells their Xtreme LED 9005 with a PWM module that runs the lights at the lower power without blinding other drivers on the road.

Extremely helpful, especially for the Limited owners out there. I would only note (a buddy asked) that you need to take the wire harness off to take the bulb out, then you put the replacement bulb in, and then connect the wiring harness (like the video). For reference, you can't take the bulb out with the harness on and put a new bulb in with the harness on.

Tip: you could have turned the wheels to make it more accessible to the fog lights.

Yes all I would change are the Lowbeams ... and a better bulb may do a better job.

I haven't found a pair of LED's that come close to the HID's for this car... I think its because of the angle the bulbs are mounted, they are not straight on, they are angled almost 90 degrees. Every time a try a pair, I return them and go back to the HID.

I know I'm a little late to this party, but I'm wondering if the high beams flicker when using them on full blast at night or only when using them as daytime running lights?

i know! it's shameful haha Toyota has been neglecting the 4Runner

Exactly, every other Toyo model has upgraded everything, but the 4Runner. Doing my research and knowing that, I bought a '19 SR5P last year and love it. Now I'm doing small mod like LED headlight, then interiors, then maybe Pedal Commander. My '05 Camry has 330 k and runs great. I expect to have my 4R for a long time. 😎🙏

This unit looks brand new; why did it not come with LED in the first place? Zero need to answer.

My thoughts exactly. 2019 4Runner and it’s got the tech of a 2005. I knew that going in and wanted Toyota reliability and wasn’t too concerned with the tech/lights
