Just wanted to tell you that of all the review vids I've watched, you're the only ones to show the complete install. Very nicely done! Very well done night drive showing light pattern and strength. Did my install today. Had to reverse polarity on the passenger side to make the HID work. Your video was very helpful and yes the LEDs run full output in DRL mode so I won’t be using them in that mode. My 4Runner came with LED fogs that have a DRL function, basically a ring of LEDs around the fog housing so I just run those during the day.
Good stuff, what a difference w/ the HID’s, right? We’ll be doing the switch backs as soon as we get a chance.
Excellent items and information, in my 15 Toyota 4Runner Limited, I will be changing to HID low beams. FYI try Sirius LEDs; T10's for door and map also their 28mm for some and tail gate, very bright and easy install

I put in the HID high beam kit from headlight revolution yesterday morning. I was not that impressed with HID lights. I should have gotten the led. I love my led low beam and reverse lights I got from headlight revolution

Headlight Revolution I appreciate it I'm good. You guys sell great products. I've bought low beam, fog light, and reverse lights from you guys. I'm very happy with them. I never had HID lights before so I thought I would give them a try. Maybe I was just expecting more.
The difference should be noticeable in your projectors.

I can’t seem to find the right video, but did you use the 5k or 6k in the BEAST? And what LED bulbs are in your fogs on the BEAST
6K on the Beast & Diode Dynamics XML2 bulbs for fogs. I’ll be swapping them out soon for Rigid Industries Pods, stay tuned!
The problem with hids is that it will burn the plastic housing for your head light the clear would start to flake off and then you need to spend money on head lights

Do you plan on upgrading your head unit? I also have a limited 4Runner and I just feel like the etune is so outdated. I’d love to hear any plans you guys have!

NO GLOVES ?..Very bulky package, and HID can be at times over blinding...to oncoming traffic as well led bulbs !
You could use dust covers ...95mm usually work on Toyota....no drilling out ..hopefully you enjoy...stay safe

Aloha, wondering what is the wattage of the ballast you installed with the HID low beam and was there any issues so far? I read that there is a posibility of melting the headlight in 55w ballast mahalo
I believe these were 35w if I remember correctly.

Can you tell me the bulb type (H1, H3, H4-1, etc) and the bulb color (5,000k pure white, 6,000k diamond white, etc) you used for the 4Runner? Also a link to the DRL and fog lamps you used? Thanks in advance!!

Since you've installed the HID's have you went back to the LED?
Nope, I have LED’s in my highs & I will only use HID in my low (projectors). HID’s work best in projectors.
What was bulb type for the Low Beam was it a H-11, I have a 2018 TRD Pro 4RUNNER. Should be the same one as you used.
Probably, but I don’t remember for sure. Check the video description, I put that info in there most of the time.

So basically you will be running full strength high beams on DRL while driving in the day =D ahh man if you installs these you will be pissing people off in cars all day haha
