    hey man, nice tutorial. Another approach to speed up the initial spline planting (since you mention in the video you are open to suggestions) would be to just do a Guides from surface with a super low count, round 20 or 30 (to replace the splines approach and time it takes to plant them individually), and the add a Gravity modifier. This will drape them along the scalp. Then you can style them a bit with Edit guides. It might speed up that hour and a half you mentioned planting the strands. All the best

    If I want to use te dreads, to export to UE, how would you texturize them?
    Which amount of polycount would expend this kind of hair?

    Thank you for this great tutorial !!! How can I make color at root and at top different. I watched ornatrix tutorial where its done by adding gradient ramp map to diffuse channel. But it's crashing render when I apply the same method to ornatrix hair made from spline. Do you have any sollution for this? Please, help me.

    When following the tutorial, just when i am adding ox strand detail, my spline rotates . How can i fix this ?

      i'm not sure, it should be possible, i think there is ornatrix for c4d. and it shouldn't be that different from max version
