- The social behavior of Lineolated Parakeets is remarkable. Henry and Christo are very good friends - except of the little accident at the end of the video. Because of his blindness Christo is a little bit clumsy. It was not his intention to throw Henry down - although that was very funny. But I tried not to laugh :-)))

Starring Henry (*2004) and Christo (*2002)
Directed by Monika
Produced in Germany, June 2011
Omg! Here i am 9 years later in 2021. How sweet birds are to their flock family.😊💕 they are such sweet birds.
Birds are wonderful compassionate creatures! My little Peridot and my baby Sage look out for each other, too. I loved this video!!!!
This is truly beautiful. i'm so so glad I found this video. I can't wait to watch more. blessings to you and your linnies
Aw, so sweet how Henry takes such good care of his friend. ^___^ And he's such a good sport even when Christo accidentally shoves him off the perch, lol. Oh well, that's what wings are for.
There are no more innocent creatures than birds. Their touch is gentle and without mark. If you`ve ever known a bird as a pet it is a lasting relationship...even to the grave
Ive just adopted 2 babyblue linnies and i would just like to say thank you for sharing this lovely graceful birds , and wish Henry Christo and yourselves a very happy and prosperous life together ,an absolute godsend you are to these a,mazing kind intelligent creatures , we are here to support you too and please please please keep us updated on their progrees , many thanks god bless youse🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😂😂😂😂❤❤❤ ❤
Yes indeed. They are very very good friends ;-)
i had one blind cremino linnie. And really they are the best parakeets!
I just got my own linnie! They're so cute! He's just started to sit on my finger :DDD
Molto belli i barrati, complimenti!
They're not mating at all, he's actually feeding him the way mama & daddy birds feed their babies, by regurgitating digested food into his mouth (seems yucky I know xD)
Oh how sad that this bird is blind. I guess nature isn't perfect, but it's good that he has a trusted true friend to feed him and be his companion. My next bird might be a Linnie. I hope I can find one at the bird expo coming up soon. I know they're expensive.
I think they're a little more than friends. 1:49

Hello my dear friend! Both birds were owned before by Markus, eldest son of my husband Ludwig. In 2009/2010 they lived with us for some months because Henry had problems with his liver. When he felt better, they went back to Markus. In May 2011 they returned, because Christo becomes blind on the left eye. He had no infection, therefore I assumed an eye cataract, because the right eye got blind a few weeks later. Although both birds are handicapped, they feel happy. I LOVE them!
Adorable!!!!!
Henry is such a good friend!!!! Why is the bird blind? Born that way? Or some kind of degenerative disease??? Your birds are so special!!!! Love them!
Awwww that's cute
He's probably really old :) old birds loose their eyesight or hearing the same way people do!
I have a green one too.
☺️❤️
