    Thank you man, I'm trying to find the right thermal pad for this model for days my laptop is now 40-45°c on idle and 80-89°c on high load with undervolt

      🫠Regarding your question, those numbers are fine, but if you want to replace the pads, they are 0.5mm and 1mm.

      Just get one sheet of 1mm and one sheet of 0.5mm, and you will know once you open them: the skinny one is 0.5mm, and the thicker one is 1mm.

      Regarding your question, we do get this issue in the store all the time and the best solution is copper shim on both GPU and CPU
      get a 20mm x 20mm .5mm amzn.to/3HOhifs
      and you will need to place a paste on CPU/CPU and then copper shim and then more paste on top and enjoy the results.
      use a good pate:

      Regarding your question, if your thermal pads are clean and not damaged don't change them, they don't necessary need to be sticky.
      the thermal paste should be a 1/4 size of the crystal dye of the GPU or CPU, don't over paste, and over pasting should not result in higher temps my friend.

    Hello! What happens if I find out that my laptop has thermal pads on VRAMs? However my model is an Acer an515-57 and I have seen other guy disassembling it and it was pink thermal paste instead of pads. What is the possibility of my laptop having thermal pads?

      Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both!
      Regarding your question, Absolutely, it is indeed possible that the use of thermal pads or thermal putty can vary depending on factors such as the time of manufacture and the specific batch of the product in stock. These variations may result in the preference for either pads or putty during the assembly process.
      If your laptop already has thermal pads in place, there is no need to replace them. Keep in mind that changing them will not improve performance or yield any benefits as this laptops are not overclocked on vrams nore GPU.

    When I open nitrosense, it says my gpu and cpu are over 200 degrees F. I used to be able to run massive games on high graphics and now I can't even run roblox. Could my computer getting really hot be the reason why I can't run anything?

    • @uFixTek
      @uFixTek  Před 2 měsíci +1

      🫠Regarding your question, you 100% need to service the heatsink and repaste the GPU/CPU .

    @9:17 I've seen on the internet that people have recommended 1mm for the thermal pads, for this model. So, will using 0.5mm be fine?

    • @uFixTek
      @uFixTek  Před 3 měsíci +1

      🫠Regarding your question, don't use it because 1mm will counter push the heatsink aways from the GPU CPU and you will not a have a great temps.
      cheers🍻

      Thank you for your feedback! If you wish to support the channel, you can like, subscribe, or both!
      Regarding your question,NO please don't use vacuum, it generates lots of static discharge and can damage the board, use a air compressor, and make sure you prevent the fan from spinning when blowing air into it, else you will generate reverse voltage and can damage the board. the best air compressor we recommend: amzn.to/483cxKi
