I like Alok's taste in fashion. He has a very strong sense of individuality. But his hairstyle and the clothes he wears do not make him a different gender. He is just a gender non-conforming man and he should be free to express himself however he wants.
Because you know them so much better than they know themselves. Give us a break. They are non-binary and you must reckon with the fact that just because YOU misgender them doesn't change their gender.

If "men" and "women" were the only naturally arising categories, this surgery wouldn't be necessary. How's that for "facts and logic"? Also, gender isn't about your body. So you're still wrong. You should really read on the subject.

but the concept of male is one we have created. what makes someone a man? is it the fact they have a penis? because sometimes they don’t. is it the fact they have xy chromosomes? because not many people in society know that for certain. having features that society has deemed male does not make one male. gender can be whatever you make it. we created it; we can change it

@@buffy8444 It's having an xy chromosome set. Biological sex is a fact. We have only two. Look it up in peer reviewed articles. This is not disputed in the main stream science litterature. What boys/men feel about this fact is something else. If they feel that their sex does not fit well with their gender identity, so be it. They can chose to wear whatever they want, express a more feminine, androgyne or whatever kind of gender they want. No law against expressing a gender other than your sex. But to dispute science reality and established knowledge is wrong, and it hurts far more people than just transe people who are so confused about the issue that they are managing to confuse the rest of the world. Listen, learn and educate yourself.

If you think there is only and has only ever been just man and women you are simply just wrong. A man dressing “like a woman” as you call it is not a freak, not an attention seeker. The only place Alok can do this is on stage. If he goes out in the street people spit, curse or beat him up.
He is from India where several genders are seen as completely normal and accepted. And it is not a new “phenomenon”
Start to open your eyes and accept that people are different and exist not only on the binary (how boring!!!)
