I would not trim 6 to 8 weeks. Hairdressers made that up to get more income. The long hair girls say to retain your hair you need to trim 2 to 3 times a year.

It depends on your hair and styling habits. My hair snarls and creates lots of single strand knots when I keep it curly, so a trim every 8 weeks is necessary to grow healthy length. If I keep it stretched I can go longer. Also, “trim” at that frequency may not be the right word, rather, a dusting. When I started dusting my hair more regularly, I saw much more healthy length retention. You just need to know your hair. Only trimming 2 times a year I would have splits going up to mid-shaft in my hair.

Their hair looks so cute like that and looks super good and healthy, the hair style fits them so well. This video brought me joy and happiness. I love this video, the hairstylist did an amazing job on their hair and making sure it looks healthy and still is healthy and by giving them the tip to make sure to get trims every 6 to 8 weeks, and trimming their and their hair looks so pretty, and they look so pretty with their heart like that fits them so well. 6-8 weeks is a bit too much for trims. They can wait 12.. even longer since they won’t be wearing it straight all the time… so maybe once a year.
