@Existential Weirdo You should watch "Better Call Saul" It is the sequel to breaking bad and is basically about Saul Goodman's life before everything happened and before he became a dirty lawyer. Very good show and I suggest you watch it. Some of the episodes in my opinion come equal to breaking bad in certain aspects. Later on the characters from breaking bad come into it like Gus and the cartel

Vince Gilligan and his cast showed how great television can be. I imagine that some humanities professor could create an entire class around this show.

This dangerous world coexists with the very world we all live in, in plain sight, nonetheless. Comprised of people we clearly see, but never look twice at. It'll be a long, long time before we see another show as good and well written as this one.

yeah...that moment when the video transitioned from Walt getting a surprise birthday party to Junior telling him to die killed me. Mostly because it just symbolized the repercussions Walt feared getting if he went along with the treatment to lengthen his lifespan. Being remembered as Heisenburg and not as a loving father and husband anymore. It makes Walt all the more tragic in a sense.
In most drama series, we're rooting for the Protagonist, but in Breaking Bad, we're rooting for the Antagonist

It was 5 in the morning when i finished Breaking Bad, everything just fitted so well together that at the ending scene of Walt's death, I just smiled with tear in my eye. Not because i was happy he died, but because he died in the meth lab he created, his territory, his job.

I watched Better Call Saul before i ever watched any of BB, and I honestly cannot believe how I never gave the show a chance when it came out. Just finished the whole series and it's one of the greatest shows, (if not the greatest) i have ever to watch. Gonna have to watch it again!

What made Breaking Bad so great is that its theme actually transcended the plot. It was so meaningful that bumps in the road can be instantly forgiven. For instance, The Sopranos was much more consistent in quality, from episode to episode, whereas Breaking Bad was at times all over the place, especially in tone. But the story of Walter White is just so meaningful.
It took a certain kind of person to become Tony Soprano. Every single one of us could become Walter White under the right circumstances. That is what makes Breaking Bad legendary.
If you watched "Breaking Bad" then you should also watch "Better call Saul"
