Breaking Bad follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. White is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.
Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

This added such a authentic theme to the series as if you all don't know, big traffickers usually get songs like this written about them and their accomplishments, called narco corridos.
Really cool lore. Reminds me of that one guy that sang about the cartels, got a death threat mid performance and finished It anyway even though It cost him his life.

You know I thought it was weird that they didn’t actually use Bryan Cranston for this since it’s in the actual show but it was made to look authentic so they used someone dressed as him like they would if this was a real corrido. That just adds to the authenticity. The writers are genius to say the least
