Sony's A6700 is its best APS-C camera yet

- The A6700 is Sony’s first APS-C mirrorless hybrid camera in years, but it was worth the wait. It heavily reduces rolling shutter that was a pain point on past models, while bumping image sharpness. It’s an excellent video camera as well, with 4K at up to 120 fps and 10-bit log capture. The main downside is burst speeds well behind the competition, particularly in electronic shutter mode

Just be sure to consider that the R7 is huge comparatively, and that there are only 4 AF lenses made for the Canon asp-c mount vs 75ish for Sony
Im considering this as a photo 1st camera for its low light moving subjects capability compare to the other competition
How is the evf with glasses? Is it usable with glasses in bright sunny day as it is quite small..
Good review. I think that this camera is interesting.
Just a note of correction. You said that it has the same sensor as the FX3 but that is a full frame sensor. However, the a6700 shares the same sensor as the FX30. Which is a great camera too
Yea, they showed the 30 in the accompanying B roll.
To be fair... The naming construct makes no sense
We'll I'd hope so!
6:54 Yup that's me. lol
It has the same sensor as the FX30, not the FX3.
Yes. He corrected it with a note in the video.
How about people who want a compact camera with excellent auto focus for photography and NEVER shoot video??
Hi would like buy to any camera for travel not so big and sharpness photo video as well pls can u recommend to me thanks 😊around 2000€
Fujifilm X-S20
This a great advert for the Canon R7, that's not a complaint. Just the honesty of your review.
Surprised there is still a market between Mobile Phone cameras and full frame professional ones…
There are some amazing apsc cameras out there. I am shooting with the FX30 and Nanomorph lenses. Awesome
Im surprised that you are surprised. Many people want something better than a phone but not huge and expensive as FF. I thought it was obvious.
@@m4rcin847 Not so obvious because the difference to a good phone camera is pretty marginal nowadays. So pay relative much for very little extra.
Try one. Hell even my Sony rx100 vii puts out photos that make my iPhone 15 pm photos look like garbage. The detail of photos from these dedicated cameras are just still way ahead of smart phones. Although smart phones are very good. But sensor size is still a huge limitation
@@StefVR thats simply not true.
Best APS-C camera yet is the Fuji X-H2s.
Best APS-C camera is the Sony A7RV in crop
