Building a Mid Century Modern Desk for my Apartment

I recently moved and needed a new desk, I designed this one to fit my computer in the gap on the right and a printer in the cabinet. This was a big learning experience for me. I already feel like I could do this project a lot better. If I could do it again I would make 3 major changes: 3/4 inch plywood instead of 1/2 inch. I also would have done some sort of biscuit or dowels in the miter joints. Finally I would've bought an angle gauge for the saws as the marks on them definitely weren't a perfect 45 which made a large gap in the outside of the miters.

Great job! As a woodworker myself the one thing I gotta say is to look into better blades for the saw and it'll really help avoid that tearout that you had happening. The tape definitely helps though. I'm think about making a desk as well soon 🤔
