Guys, Reptile getting a palette for his Darkness skin doesn't mean anything if the ACTUAL BASE COLOUR isn't there.
Also, it's been noted that the current order has alternated genders. This may support Kitana being next, but it could be a coincidence. Time will tell.
I know that they only gave us season 4 skin on order of darkness without the original palettes

Fun fact about the current costumes. NRS yet again prove that they don't know what they are fucking doing, because it was datamined these costumes are codes as "chaos season" costumes. So this AAA MK game literally accidentally released a whole wrong set of costumes for the season, meaning we will most likely now get pink suits with Havik. Fantastic.

More likely something didn't work with the original concept for Mileena's season. Or maybe it's was vetoed last second for some reason.

Your logic makes sense but I have a feeling NRS will still just give everyone a season and throw in some random color to go with it. I mean its clear they aren't against putting colors that make no dam sense to the character ala the Mileena season. Instead of repeat seasons NRS will make you just pay money for the missed costumes as they have already done in the shop.
It feels likely that even if they just throw random colors for a season for everyone that once everyone's time has passed they'll just go in for a repeat.

They could have tied better Invasions with story mode if the characters were specifically mentioned to be Titans in the final chapter instead of being the same constumes Shang Tsung's timeline version of these characters wear.
Adding a correction: after re-watching Invensions cutscenes, none of the bosses are mentioned to be Titans. Actually don't even make sense for Scorpion and Mileena bosses to be the Titans/Keepers of Time of their timelines.
Would be cool if we get a havik season before aftermath, with it ending in havik’s retreat

It would be cool if after all seasons come out, we get to choose which season to replay. I would hate to circle back around to season 1 and have to get more McDonald’s uniform colored Scorpion themed skins. But I can only dream of

In the files there are still gold and silver variants of Geras' order of darkness skin, despite the regular ones being unlocked from the shrine. So it stands to reason that he too will get a titan battle at some point and maybe add some bonus colors unless they make them unlockable through some other unique means
if they dont give us the revenant skins for everyone in quan chi's season, they are certainly very dumb.
They'll give everyone Quan Chi skin again because they're very dumb.
Reiko's season could be him being "Kahn" in his timeline after killing Shao Kahn in battle. He then merged the realms as Shao would have and now wants to merge the timelines to be Kahn of All.
That dose make sense, and would be pretty cool

I got Titan; Reptile, Sindel, Havik, Kenshi & Baraka seasonal pallets in invasions.
Liu Kang and kitana are probably just going to be one of those limited time Titan invasions they pull once every season
Reiko season would be about possible true prowess like he quite literally is just better skilled and maybe have some type of anti magic or relics to protect him from certain powers that would definitely a interesting theme considering how hard a more classic reiko/Shao Khan color scheme on everyone would fucking slap
Yeah the reasoning of Reiko being a jober didnt make sense to me since titans are supposed to be their strongest versions. Reiko is all about war in this game so i wouldn’t be surprised if Titan Reiko just said fuck it we ball and invaded (Also he said Kung Lao could get a season which yeah but at the same time Kung Lao is just good Reiko when it comes to comparisons so i think Titan Kung will be with Liu Kangs invasion)
Dude, I hope it turns out as you say, cause the idea of a set of seasons and titan battles, to then follow another set where titan battles ones have their own season and previous character that had their own season become titan battles is brilliant, also, love the idea of cyber smoke season, so many cool ideas and I hope NRS listens to this kind of feedback that would really make each season feel unique
Y'know, i've never made that Connection between Titan Battles being correlated to Kombat League Skin Rewards. That's actually surprising.
I feel like the reason why Titan Shang Tsung gets seasonal palettes instead of his Union of Light skin is because they might save him for the final season of invasions. If this is the case, then this is a way of softening the blow of having to wait until the end of the game's life cycle in order to get such a nice looking costume.
A Johnny Cage Invasion wouldn't make any sense. He's a good guy, so why would he invade another timeline?
Well since NRS did some drugs and now MK has the multiverse you can just slap an evil Johnny and call it a day.
Raiden is a good guy was well even though we all know he has been Dark Raiden before.
I think I have a few ideas. They're the best I could come up(which might explain why some may be trash). If anyone else has other ideas, I'm all ears. Oh, and not all of them are serious ideas.
1. An evil Johnny Cage could perhaps try to either destroy or conquer a timeline in order to make a film out of it.
2. Evil Johnny could be that classic narcissistic movie villain you love to hate with his motive being simple conquest while looking fabulous.
3. Evil Johnny wants to spread International Love across the timelines. But some reject the offer, and thus Johnny wants to put the timelines down like New York City, be wild like Los Angeles, and be hotter than Miami.
4. Evil Johnny wants to hook up with all Women across multiple timelines and become the ultimate chick magnet.

Why would Raiden?
if ermac is the next dlc id say it should be shang stung aka season of souls & personally i think black, gray with glowing green color palettes would be cool with glowing green eyes & maybe pale skin
We already got Shang tsung in the main game, quan chi instead
Kenshi might give us colors of scarlet or crimson while raiden prob gives us like a navy or electricuted skins
So far youve been 2 3rds of the way right, Reptile is getting his own season after Raidens.
Reptile is confirmed for Season 6. Kung Lao and Liu Kang are the other Season 5 Kombat League skins. So now we’re left with Kitana and Reiko from the base roster. Then Ermac, Quan Chi, and Takeda from DLC’s. I feel like they might use other characters that already had skins in the Kombat League such as Rain or Smoke for example.

I hope they make it where dark raiden has a skin that’s the older raiden face model with the voice because that would probably be the best skin in the game it would be weird with the new raiden
I want the Dark Raiden skin with his demonic voice and old look. Plus also the good Titan Raiden with his old look but positive older voice.

I love your videos man, always a fun watch.
Although I do gotta say, I think NRS with this recent fumble of how they gave Mileena's season the Havik colors (although you do get tons of appropriately themed Mileena colors for some characters along the way) will have to learn how to make Invasions mode more entertaining. They definitely have a neat start with how XP rewards are so much better this time around (by the time I finished this season, I had mastered Omniman, Peacemaker and Kung Lao from level 25 to 35). I think what could help too is adding the hybrid fighters from the final chapter of story mode as enemies, even if you can't play as them or if you can unlock their skin if their hybrid effect wasn't too big, as well as include some of the lesser Order of Darkness skins as unlockables.
I feel like Raiden's season if they do things right would result in you being able to get the bosses order of darkness skins (to avoid spoiling who they are, look that up if you're interested) beside just Dark Raiden.
Although I do agree a Reptile season would be amazing, just that I have a feeling we're about to see that skin quite sooner since his OoD skin along with Kenshi's made a recolored appearance as unlockables in this season.

Yeah, the fact that Kameos, which were the main selling point of the game in the first place, are completely absent from the the main game mode in terms of new content is certainly an odd choice

Li-mei could have purple and they have different styles when you ignore the colors plus mileena's season was supposed to be havik's but they gave it to mileena cause they were too lazy to make skins for her

Hmmm maybe at some point we could actually get classic Shao Kahn with the hammer or some kind of Demon made of smoke for Smoke which would be pretty cool or brand new skins like in MK11 with saurian skins for certain characters.
I got the season 4 version of the titan skins of Kenshi, Baraka, Reptile, Sindel, and Havik. They also added season 4 pallets for Quan chi (not in the season store).
I'm not sure if the regular titan Reptile, Kenshi, or Havik are available somehow or not.

If they come to repeating seasons.
They must give us new seasonal palette for other skins, palette for Kameos and for DLC characters.

To mention I wouldn't mind seeing a storyline focusing on evil Edenia? And it's a shame we're not getting evil vampire world! And while I do believe that some DLC characters will not get a storyline for the guests I wouldn't rule out one couldn't considering all that Amazon money is really dumped into this so I wouldn't be surprised if either homelander or Omni-Man get a season probably towards the late end of the life cycle just to get the boost of the money probably after a couple more DLCS
Reptile has a order of darkness skin I just got it yesterday playing invasions.
It's not the base colour, so it doesn't count.

My only problem with this is that Raidens kombat league season will probably consist of kung Lao and Liu kang automatically relegating them to Titan battles, it’d be nice if you’re right though. Looking forward to a potential Saurian season
Also, not all characters have received the same amount of Seasonal palettes. I wanted so bad to have an ice skin Sindel, but alas she didn't have those, and many other characters also have received fewer amount of palettes compared to Scorpion and Sub-Zero for example who always receive many skins in the Seasonal shop. So I guess, yeah, it's Invasions 2.0 after the Story expansion with new palettes.
season repeats would be good cause lets face it not everyone was able to get everything first time around. not everyone can afford the game straight up as games are expensive and some people may wait for discounts. also i didnt really try my first time around on season 1 to go back and do the locked areas. i went back and tried but i assumed since they i was getting anything from the battles except wearing myself out that i wasn't going to get anything. it was only when i went back and actually tried on sub-zeros season and realized there were more palates i said ah crap LOL
Honestly I think they will hopefully make new skims for repeats. Though unlikely at this point.

A cool way to make the invasions mode better is using the system that was seen in the final chapter of the story mode,make the character you are fighting have some of the moves of the main boss of the season.

something i lke about invasions are the stories that every evil titan gets (well scorpion and mileena) and it would be pretty interesting to see a reptile season with him turning others into saurians, or even a kitana season with her being an evil queen conquering realms and timelines since she was raised by shao kahn, and as much as i would love to see an evil liu kang season i think he wont get one, since it was leaked he would get a titan battle just like li mei, and for a quan chi season.....maybe revenant colors and skins???

I know it would be a fever dream but id adore invasion seasons for the guests and the costumes would all be references to their properties, Stuff like a Monster Girl themed skin for Reptile or the Immortal as Geras.

pretty sure they'll add the Krypt for the final year of DLC (20 DLC characters excluding Shang Tsung means we're getting 5 more DLC character alongside KP1, KP2 and the 3 coming with the expansions) so they'll be supporting invasions for a second year

I hope that if Liu Kang gets his own season, it would be the mad fire god liu kang from his mortal kombat 9 ending. I was going to say zombie liu kang from armageddon, but it's actually more fitting to have the version from when he first had doubts with raiden and tried to kill him. Just me saying, but I'm sure having an undead/ possessed liu kang again would be too repetitive at this point.
