I shed a tear watching Liu Kang and Kitana's reunion. They both went through a lot and clearly missed each other.
They both spent eons away from each other and yet they’re still in love, truly beautiful.
I hear you. All these years I have been wishing the two of them can finally be happy together.
But that could only really happen if the franchise is ended. Everything going on always drags them apart.
The only other Liu Kang and Kitana seen together as a couple and not torn apart by fate are the Revenants in MKX and MK11. But they're evil in that form.

Liu Kang and Kitana's love is tragic. An Earthrealmer and an Outworlder. Lovers from different worlds who hate each other. Yet when they finally get a chance to love each other, they are tasked with being time keepers of separate timelines. Why can't they have a happy ending?
Someone needs to re-write time to give the OG Liu and Kitana their forever happy ending. And doom upon any God or Supreme being who says they don't get it!!

Facts! His DA outfit doesn’t get enough attention. It was so good and sadly was only in one game. We had to suffer with dark Raiden twice after it.

Same story for Shang Tsung, voiced by Alan Lee in this game.

Well you can technically play as a righteous Shao Kahn in the last chapter if that counts
yes and no. you see they aren't there to fight to protect the other timelines, they are there to make sure Shang Tsung doesn't erase theirs. Quan Chi hates Shang Tsung more than he loves Liu Kang. Shao Kahn sees himself as the ONLY one worthy to rule and will do anything to overthrow Shang Tsung. its a alliance of temporary convience.

You know, I'm really interested to see how they would react to Erron Black's timeline. I mean, the guy just threw his Hourglass into the Sea of Blood and never looked back. Whatever happened there is anyone's guess. Is he still a Titan? Is he long dead? It would be interesting to see.

Even fighters who weren't in MK11 get their own timeline. Match Intros directly state there's one with _Titan Onaga._ And he's becoming a problem.

1-THEY ARE TITANS, how are they struggling to normal versions of themselves?

I think it's funny that they make it a huge part of the game for Lui to get his powers back to once again be a Titan... recruit other Titans... but still struggle vs regular combatants.

Not only that, but they could’ve killed him from the very beginning of him damaging the hour glass with evil kiatana and evil Mileena. This is why I hate this scene, so much common sense goes out the freaking window
The choreography in the cutscenes is perfect. It is in line with the actual strength and abilities of the characters. Such a step up from some of the garbage fights in mk11. Characters here are actually moving quick, evading, hitting hard and using their powers.
Mk9-11 Kitana, Kung Lao and Raiden are my favorites, I missed them so much. If Old Raiden still had his voice from the 3 last games it would've been more epic, but I'm just glad he's back 😄 at least Liu kang and the others still have their voice actors. And I've been waiting so long for Kitana and Liu kang's kiss 😆 this Kitana will always remain his and it explains why he didn't interacted a lot with his new era one which is good, all Mk11 endings are even canon along the Snow blind movie

Not only does this mean every ending is canon including ones we didnt see, it also means Kronika is still out there somewhere with the "OG" timeline.
Also, I wish the titans were more easily distinguishable. In the final battle its impossible to tell whos a titan and whos a variant at times.
Kronika is the only one confirmed deader than dead.
She dies in every timeline
Kronika is a Titian and Titian’s are outside of time. They said in the story that once a Titian die there’s no coming back. So by lui kang killing her he made it a constant that she dies in every timeline. The only variation is who takes control and how they did it.
"Including ones we didn't see" is correct. Two different Match Intro dialogues between Liu Kang and Geras confirm that there is a Timeline with a _Titan Onaga._
In one of the endings I forget who but they give Kronika the hourglass back. How can that be canon if she dies in every timeline at once?

2) Keeps himself occupied by doing anything but preventing them from destroying it.
3) Reaffirms that his reality existence is in danger with heavy damage on the hourglass
4) Makes sure the immortal Geras can sit up straight so he can heal his shoulder.

Kinda hope they follow up on this. Especially Kang and Kitana reuniting! They could get the whole gang together again, tour each others' timelines, make a sort of Justice League of Titans to watch their multiverse. Seems crazy to think they wouldn't enjoy the company of old friends once the crisis was averted!
I just wish there was more dialogue between all of them there all from the same timeline and meant a lot to eachother they were friends

While I have some issues with the previous two game's story telling I wont lie I smiled at things coming full circle back to this place.
Also, anyone else notice that whenever a game or a movie or a TV series ends their sequel with “Time Travel” or “The Multiverse”, that means YOU KNOW the game/movie/series is gonna end with a grand finale. Like “Avengers: Endgame” for example…
I like to imagine when Liu Kang summon Kitana,Raiden and Kung Lao is them from the ending of MK11 where each of them become Elder God.
How would they be able to tell which side the person they were fighting is on during the final battle? Running up the stairs are the good guys, running down are the bad guys, but once they collide, the battle would get a little confusing. Should've gotten matching uniforms lol.

Here's the one issue we learned. When shang was able to get the crown. Lui kang came from his original timeline to the timeline When shang was victorious in getting The Crown. Which means that lui kang is safe from any mix up should his version fail. Meaning that there is a fail-safe.

@@danielhaire6677I imagine several of the characters did just that. With so many different timelines crafted by each of the MK11 characters, there has to be a bunch where Liu Kang and Kitana end up together. I just wish we could see one of those timelines.

I do like that seemingly in this game all Tower ending appear cannon as they are all referenced in intros for the most part, like Smoke recruiting Hanzo, the villains escaping prison, Havik and rain flooding Seido, Liu Kang losing his immortality. I like where this is going
