Mason hearing "righteousness of centrism and foreign policy" and immediately pegging Falcon and the Winter Soldier was incredible.
I feel like Falcon and Winter Soldier is the only Disney+ show that even deals with foreign policy, so pretty easy to guess anyway. But not an invalid criticism.
Never seen the Marvel shows and I guessed it at the exact same time.

On one hand I recognize that this type of content can appear easy to make and churn-able but man. I’m here for it. Every time. It’s the same content. Mason guesses, gets a few to most right, all while James builds up to the same or similar joke of a movie/show that has nothing to do with the topic. It’s there. That’s every edition of this. But I’ll be damned if I don’t anticipate every single time they do one of these. They’re great at making the… less-than-ambitious topics wildly entertaining.
Oh and shoutout to the editors who have to skim every series for usable video clips! That part ain’t easy.

I've been getting into this channel over the last month, and I love how . . . "basic" it is? I don't mean that as a criticism at all. This channel has over a million subscribers, and it's still just two dudes having a good time and driving each other crazy. It's genuinely enjoyable.

they used to summarize in trailers or provide a bit more context. They are simultaneously relying on the fan bases knowledge a bit much now while over explaining events pr situations that literally happened right before they explain it for no reason.

You should read out a brief synopsis for scifi TV series episodes and make Mason guess what TV show they're from. "The ship is infected with a virus." "The crew meet an alien who has lots of powers and is really old." Is it a Star Trek, is it a Babylon 5, is it a Red Worf? Who knows.

This could easily be a two-parter. Star wars sequels/kenobi, both ghostbusters reboots, top gun 2, cobra kai, maybe even no way home if that counts. If you went back a little further you could do stuff like robocop 2014, Voltron, that weird lethal weapon one, transformers, and those vacation reboot/sequels. Great idea.

The last jedi is one of the most polarizing movies of all time. I bet there's a wide enough range of reviews and opinions you could fill a whole episode of star wars reviews but you trick Mason with them all being the last jedi.
Maybe the person who didn't like Ms. Marvel had somehow got the idea into their head that Ms. Marvel was going to be some kind of challenger who really resented the Carol Danvers Captain Marvel and was going to be like "I'm going to reclaim the Marvel title!" and would be more pleasing to whatever ideological sensibilities the reviewer held, like maybe between punching bad guys she would wear pretty dresses and date a socially awkward male nerd and laugh at all his jokes and make him pancakes or whatever (as opposed to having short hair and flying fighter jets and having a lot of romantic chemistry with a black woman)?

Legendary comedian Peter Kay’s review of the mandalorian was definitely not on par with his other work. Not one reference to cheese cake to be found. 3/10 would not bang again.
