    Thank! You! I've spent the last several years infuriated watching CZcams "chefs" lecture people on why they need to "season with salt" the minute food comes out of a fryer, only for them to stupidly pour huge flakes of kosher salt on the food that does nothing but bounce off.

      I hate any video messing with chips! It’s simple get yourself
      A bag of Maris pipers potatoes cut them to your size wash and drain! Hot fryer 180-200 one portion 2 handfuls 10mins shake half way through done ✅ Perfect 👍🏻 🤣✌🏻👌🏻🔥🤙🏻

    we use maldon at our restaurant, but crush it in your fingers as you sprinkle it and that sticks well

      Please correct me but I fail to see the reason for this. I thought the reason you get Maldon is for the structure of the crystals. If you're crushing the crystals, it seems like you're just spending more money and exerting more effort to achieve the same result as using fine salt

    I do the same thing but I do it in the oven instead of the fryer. It takes about 1/2 hour to get a crispy and golden color.

      Lol I do my fries in the oven also this is funny because that's exactly how they do fries in prison and that's how I started doing them in the oven I worked in the messhall for 5years 😂😂

    We make them almost the same way in the restaurant where i work,only difference is that we leave the skin on,and we use a mix of 80-90%of salt and 10-20% of black pepper.

    There’s a place by me that does triple-fried fries. They’re pretty good, not sure if it makes more of a difference; twice frying is the way to go but to boil them first is interesting
