The underworld needs more exploring. There are so many things to flesh out.
A movie about Amelia would be most important. Of all the elders, she’s the only prominent one we saw absolutely nothing about.
They should have shown her kill one or two lycans in that first movie, but they made her look weak...

Despite her relevance, we never saw much of Amelia as a character: we only watched her in a scene in the first movie, doing absolutely nothing, and a flashback on the second, speaking no more than three words!!!!
I think for her actor didn't really know English like that she is Hungarian and they just needed a really beautiful woman and found her.

Think Blade, where Doctor Karen Jensen was used as a vehicle to introduce and explore the fictional world and then dumped from the franchise without explanation. The implication is that Blade set her up somewhere after the first movie and she continued mailing him an improved version of his serum.
I am from the Czech Republic. According to the film, the Eastern Coven is indeed situated in the Czech Republic, not in Prague though. The castle we could see in the film was Castle Hluboká which is located in the southern part of the country, not far from České Budějovice (the capital of South Bohemian Region). This makes total sense. Victor's coven (the Old World Coven) was situated in Hungary, and the main seat of power (and place where the elders hibernated) was set in Budapest, the capital city of Hungary. Amelia must have been a very powerful Bohemian noble. In the war with the first werewolfs, a great amount of silver was needed to fight the beasts. Therefore, Bohemia was a very important region for the vampires. Why? Because in Kutná Hora, there was the biggest silver mine in Europe. Therefore, Amelia provided Victor and Markus with the necessary amount of silver to make weapons against the first werewolfs. In exchange, she was offered immortality and eternal beauty.
Also it's implied in Underworld Evolution that she was a military commander in her own right as Viktor ordered one of his soldiers to go get her when in a situation where extra manpower was required.
All things considered, Amelia should've been strong enough to at least escape that ambush.

Well in simple logic
She should be at full power until marcus is awake and at full power of his capacity
Then she could go in a dormant state
Amelia stop drinking blood before waking up marcus is incoherent
Imagine they face a threat while she weaken herself while she haven't awaken her successor that just doesn't make any sense

They wouldn't give the actress much of a big role because she doesn't speak English well as she is Hungarian and they just needed a beautiful woman to fulfill the role
That's why she is supposed to have a big role but she doesn't say much in the various appearances she has

I remember enjoying the first three films, though I arguably enjoyed the first two more. Not sure what the directors and writers were thinking with the forth one. After the forth one, I couldn't care less about seeing another one.
That’s harsh lol well after rise of the Lycian it did get watered down but I love the story line.

Although i enjoyed most of the films i was left thinking it was a waste of potential. Something set in this world written well would make a great 6-8 episode series.

I would love ro see an Underworld show. There are so many stories from different eras to choose from. I have hoped for a long time and continue to hope that someone would take a shot at putting this on the small screen.
That would be dumb it was modern that’s what made it work. The period pieces were flashbacks only.
Yea a Netflix or Amazon prime original, or hbo, it would get the attention and time and love it deserves, you could tell so many stories with underworld... God that would be awesome

Rise of the lycans wasn't a " flashback only" the entire movie was back in he origin and beggining of lycans and their birth and the start of the major vampire lycan war that nearly led to the extinction of the Lycans and werewolves after they were hunted to near extinction themselves by the vampires...
There is a ton of story to explore, why are you being so negative and mean?
One thing I wish they kept consistent is the elder strength.
The Lycans easily killed the elders in the first movie but after that movie all of a sudden an elder can kill like 15 lycans easily
I never understood how a vampire is physically stronger than a werewolf . Then what is the point of making the lycans such a threat if they can be so easily dispatched?

Vampire gets stronger with time.
As for the elders... Viktor was not born a vampire, Marcus turned him when he was dying as a human

I love the opening sounds you use for each of your videos. Especially the shrill like eerie ones, it gives me goosebumps and a rush.
The coven underneath the dam was probably using very little electricity so they could not be tracked by humans. We are pretty smart for being such a weak group of people, that is how they do track people down in movies by looking for areas with a higher temperature than it should be or a higher power usage.
They just literally wasted Amelia's character! How can a vampire elder just got killed so easily! Other two elders were killed by Selene which they deserved but Amelia! She had a good heart! She did everything to save her son David unlike Victor, who just killed his own daughter! We needed one movie focusing on Amelia.
They kinda wasted Micheal's character too.

This series of movies is a guilty pleasure of mine.
I wish Scott Speedman returned as Michael. Although I love this franchise to bits, everything felt off about the movies after his departure and seemed as if the writers were scrambling to make sense as to why Michael is gone and then bloop, dead. Smh. I really loved Selene and Michael together. His character deserved better. This pissed me off as much as GOT's last season. 😭 Ugh, lol.

Cool explanation! Though I must say, the Nordic Cavin looked very similar to the same place where Viktor had his daughter Sonya, raised Lucian and fell under the the rice of the Lycans. He scaped by boat with the elders with Tanis at his aid. Since the other elders were there, being carried while slumbering, that Cavin might have been the main one. lol

Sorry to disappoint you but it's not the same coven. The Nordic Coven is located in a Castle like fortress most likely somewhere between Norway and/or Finland, while the coven that Sonja and Andreas Tanis were members of along with Viktor and Lucian took over after the fall when Lycans battled the vampires for control over was the The original old world Coven location in a castle known as Castle Corvinus presumably located in either Hungary, Romania or the Hungarian-Romanian borders zone.
They should make movies about Amelia and Marcus kingdom

I'd assume "Houses" refers to Families, or Clans. Which would be several within a Coven with the greater House gaining regent, as in the old feudal ranking rystems.
They did Michael dirty been a cross vampire/lycan hybrid yet he's killed off screen in the 4th movie and is barely in the 3rd also Celine drank the blood of corvin the highest and oldest immortal being yet its forgotten in other movies after 2

I'm confused. If vampires live forever and never die and covens keep adding new people. Then how can people ascend if they will be no vacant positions. It would only get crowded at the top. Also, how did Princess Amelia die?
that is probably why smaller covens formed off the main ones to help alleviate that problem to some degree plus rate off addions would need to be considered as well as how rare turnings and true born's would be with having such long life. plus the ongoing war with the Lycian's lots of death dealers die in wars
Vampires had been warring with Lycans for almost a 1000 years and constantly dying and dying pretty easily as the movies showed. In Rise of Lycans the entire original coven was wiped out by Lycans with only Victor and a few others(3 I think) surviving... Amelia isn’t a princess she’s an Elder, and she died in the first movie by the Lycans on the train, did you not see it?

Well now that Selene is an Elder. How is Eve going to be treated? Will they respect her because she's Selene's daughter or will they look down on her a bit since she's part Lycan?
I have another similar question regarding Michael Corvin. If an Underworld 6 is made and Michael returns. Because he has come back from the dead before.
How will he be treated as well? You said people can climb through the ranks if they are romantically involved with someone of a high status.

Crv might have more space than the cx50 but there is one thing Mazda excels at and that’s drive quality, I own a cx5 and and yes the rav 4 is bigger and the crv is too, but both of them are extremely loud compared to the cx5 and the build quality in the interior is noticeably higher

WAs that a Deleted scene at 2:39, I don't remember that scene happening or I just haven't seen the movie in some time.
The movies were pretty meh. But once they started expanding the lore in comics and stuff, I got pretty interested in the Underworld universe.
The universe itself is better than the movies could portray
