For the people saying what happened to the OLD standards, well that’s exactly what they are, old. Our world and culture is constantly changing meaning the standards will too. These are two amazingly talented young artists who are overwhelmed with joy in a moment of success. The speech was not bland or boring, and they showed gratitude and joy, is that not a good standard to uphold. And I understand that not everyone enjoys her music, but there are so many who do. There’s genuinely so many people who were moved by this song specifically, I’m not even one of them, but I can understand and respect that this song touched people’s hearts.

Thankfully it’s nothing like how far standards have dropped at Grammys . Will we ever get back to high standards ? Nowadays it’s about someone’s appearance or their political views.
