Mannnn!!!!! @chris you just flashed my ECU on my 2018 R1s, feels COMPLETELY different! Like a new bike. Posting a video hopefully tonight in the channel YamaYari. It’s sooooo smooth like butter. Before it was very jumpy and only ran a 156 on a Dyno here in Florida. I’m hoping with the Akrapovic setup, block off plates and sprint filter I can get closer to 178-180. Thank you 🙏 is was so cool having you flash it after watching you for over a year. Thank you again🙏
I owned an R1s for 4 years and 30k miles. Took it to the drag strip, and was able to get a personal best of 10.2 down the quarter. Also did quite a few track days on it. It is a great bike.
How much can someone get one for a used one
@@user...9inety8 that is a good question. I am going to try and sell mine for 8.5k U.S. It has some tasteful upgrades, has been meticulously maintained and is still under warranty for the next 9 months or so.

Actually r1&r1s headers are titanium from factory....and have very good configuration and build.... This akrapovic isn't the Evo ..it's the racing series...which is stainless with titanium can.
Ya idiots, Man the stock R1 headers eew gross titanium everyone hates titanium, let’s put stainless steel headers on those are much better 🤦🏻♂️ The reason why they didn’t just sell the customer the slip on back and get rid of the cat is because they make more money on installing the full system Shystie business practices the customer would’ve been much better off keeping the titanium headers and just getting the titanium slip on that illuminates the catalytic converter and he would’ve had an even lighter system for three times the less the cost that made the same power but 3x less $$$ .
And they didn’t even know it was an R1s

Yes it can be tuned in or out. It's an option when sending in your ecu. I love the popping flames I get so I told Chris I wanted it. When cruising it won't pop when shifting gears. When sending in your ECU just say you don't want the pops on decel.
Results vary greatly. I have a tune, block off plates, and have had two different exhaust setups with two different tunes on my 2018 R1. Smog block off plates help a lot but they do not eliminate decel pops entirely.
