    Excellent review, I appreciate how thoroughly you tested these. I have Wildpeak at3's currently. Although I'm pretty satisfied with them I can't stop thinking about these Toyo's. I will need new tires this calendar year so thanks again for this video.

    Just put a set of 275/65 R18 on my 2018 Tundra SR5 4x4, beautiful tire. Tundra’s braking, response so much better. Smooth ride. Highly recommended.

    Very cool review with great running footage. We spent some time at the proving ground really trying to improve this AT3 over the AT2. I was asked to evaluate and work closely with Toyo engineers pushing this tire extremely hard on pavement and in the rocks. Happy to hear people enjoy the hard work that was put into it on the R&D side.

      I am a power line worker in the Mojave desert, Edison Rurals region . We are off road all day every day rocks sand hills in a RAM 2500 loaded with tools. we ran a set of the 295 70 18s at-3 . we never lost one to a flat, they provided excellent traction , great roadability , we got approximately 60k out of those tires. Fleet dept re shoed her with TOYO RTs. They are impressive as well but i don't think were going to get that mileage out of them. and yes mpg is down as well. I was always TOYO MTs the rest are shit. until now. So much so im running 37 12.50 17s on my personal Power wagon 2500 . Great tire !

      @@Barefoot-Bob Glad to hear you liked the AT3. I know SoCal well. Grew up in Valencia. I tested the Toyo MT's and compared them to the AT3, RT, and RT Trail all in the same week at the Test Track. Although, the MT's are a pretty old and proven spec, they are good but not my favorite for many reasons. I do have to say that my new favorite all around tire would have to be the Toyo RT Trail. It is a hybrid from the AT3 and RT and IMO is the best of both worlds without being to aggressive like the MT. I like the looks and was impressed with the front / rear matching and having a very linear yaw rate makes it very predictable and controlled in limit conditions. Check them out!

      The biggest complaint I heard about the AT2 (And some say the same about the AT3) is the on-road wet traction. I'm hoping the AT3's have a new compound that at least makes the wet traction reasonable. Everything else about the tire seems fantastic. I especially appreciate the light weight too. It's the lightest 275/60/20 AT tire I could find for my 2018 F150 Supercrew FX4. (Only 42lbs for the 115T version). No idea how you keep the weight down so much, for a fairly aggressive AT tire.

    I've had great luck with all Toyo products. The guy's at Discount love them as they balance so easily. I've been running them since 2002 when I got burned on some BFG's. Constant highway vibes that couldn't be cured. M-55's,MT's and AT's. No flat's,nothing.

    The more reviews I see of the Open Country's the more I'm considering them. I was going to go for the Cooper AT3s because they're available in the bigger size I'm wanting (inch taller) but I'm really considering staying with my current tire size just because the Open Country's appear to be that good and the Coopers don't seem to compare with the Toyo's.

      I’m currently running 35x12.5x20 ko2’s on my f150 . Looking to change it up to a true 35 in tire. The 325x60x20 is a 35.4 in tire diameter. Almost certain I’m going with the toyo at111 . They are much lighter tire then almost any other tire at this size. The wildpeaks are almost 29 lbs. heavier just a fyi . Loved the review and will be picking these up in the future.

    That’s actually a kind of a concerning cut into the tire. I doubt the K02s or the Baja boss AT would have that issue. Probably better on gas mileage though. They also look like they conform to the terrain really well, a benefit to the weaker sidewall.

    • @craigfisher67
      @craigfisher67 Před 6 měsíci

      I have a cut like that on my KO2s. Given a sharp rock at the right angle, any sidewall can be cut. I have over 20k with cut and no issues.
