The Shadow Society Collection Event launches March 26th, and there will be 36 limited-time event skins and cosmetics that you can unlock.
The NEW "Cobalt Katar" Universal Heirloom will be releasing, along with a new Box Skin known as the "Tax Collector".
The Cobalt Katar Heirloom is Apex's first Artifact that will be releasing in Season 20 of Apex Legends.
A brand NEW LTM known as Lockdown will be releasing, which will feature 4 player Squads where you need to Capture Zones!
Legendary skins for Revenant, Ballistic, Horizon, Bloodhound, Mad Maggie, Lifeline, the G7, Volt, EVA 8, CAR, R-301, Flatline, and 30-30 Repeater will release in the Shadow Society Collection Event.
The Cobalt Katar Universal Heirloom can be equipped by any Legend, and it will be customizable at a later date, according to Kral.

Damn I really hope that legend specific heirlooms will return after this event but every now and then a universal one would appear, it’d be far better than scrapping legends specific heirlooms entirely and rather have a mix of both legend and universal ones.

Its obvious why they scrapped it, it will not make them money because they can’t sell recolors and nobody will buy Full Events to get the heirloom. With these new artifact they’re trying to get everybody attention again and it worked. They’re not going to make a Maggie heirloom so the 3 Maggie mains have a heirloom, it’s sucks but from a business point, which is the main goal of a game which is make money. It makes sense to scrap it eventho it’s greedy and bad.

I have a theory, I think that It will be like, you but the base one, and then when it returns, you can buy the new core/power source, instead of the new artifact. This would also change either the blade color or style, I dont know, and it probably won't happen because EA is greedy, but Im hopeful it will end up like that

Yes, it unlocks through the event packs, but it’s not a milestone reward. It’s guaranteed by opening all of the 36 packs, but you could get it before then. So if you’re REALLY lucky, you could get it for free by opening that 1 free pack from the rewards shop, but it is a very very low chance.

I want more events like the final fantasy collection. Much more unique and interesting to me. This feels generic and uninspired as far as a paid universal heirloom. Had it been free, or something to earn next season or after hitting a certain level, I’d be amazed
