We need to collectively come together and not purchase these event skins. They are becoming too expensive and they were way too expensive to begin with…. Please can we all collectively agree? Come on. The heirloom was supposed to be free but these greedy people at EA have done it again. Cut employees and put out only skins for profit and not actually doing something for the community for the anniversary. The server refresh rate is abysmal, the cheating is rampant and the matchmaking makes me wish I never started to play this game.

The melee animations of this heirloom are a direct copy of some of Loba's, this is unacceptably lazy, especially when the heirloom costs twice the regular heirloom price
It's been unacceptable since they asked 160 dollars for an heirloom and 20 for a regular skin. Both take minimal effort to make. I wish everyone would realize how unacceptable all of this is

All of my mains don’t have heirlooms and I finally got shards 💀 torn between getting this or just hoping to one day have an heirloom to use my shards on
I am not someone who is shy about spending money in this game but I have to admit that this event is a huge disappointment for me. The pricing is already quite extreme but to compound that by locking specific event items behind a gambling system feels really gross and greedy to me. It’s pretty clear that this is the direction they’ve chosen to go and we just have to deal with it. But I really hope people will dial back their spending with this game and hopefully inspire them to change course for future events. For some people, getting a new skin for their favorite character adds a ton of fun and excitement to the game. But this really sucks the life out of that and makes it feel dull and irritating to participate in.
I definitely want legend specific heirlooms also but ones with story. I think all cosmetics could and should be cheaper.

I don't even know how much it'll be in the store, but that would be the ONLY skin I'll buy from this entire event if I have to, nothing else.
Otherwise, I am totally against this type of collection event when we don't even have the chance to craft the skins for our Legend main, EA please reduce your prices on these skins, heirlooms, artifacts, everything. Way more people will pay for good legendary skins or heirlooms that are at a 'balanced' price making them overpriced like most collection events.

If you only want a skin, change your location to Belgium in the ea website, and then start apex. You can then buy any skins directly. It’ll be like 2100 apex coins each I think

Doesn’t have unique 3rd person animations except for attacking. Unlike all other heirlooms & buster sword, the idle crouch & moving animations are same has no heirloom animations.

I was really hoping they weren’t putting off legend, specific heirlooms I have about another year left in me of playing this game if vantage doesn’t get her heirloom by season 26. I’m done playing Apex. I’m tired man season 26. Is most likely going to drop next year in August and by then vintage will be out for at least three years and that’s about 12 seasons used to be fun

I hope this fails and we can go back to getting strictly legend heirlooms. No one gaf about some random universal heirloom that has no lore or real purpose behind it other than its there because Respwn is too lazy to think of unique legend specific heirlooms.

The heirloom is ugly no matter if it is $20, $200, or $2000. You cant dunk on people with an ugly heirloom lol
I personally like the design of the Heirloom, especially with it's gold, black, and blue design. The damascus steel and the momento mori engravings are a nice touch, and the katar has been a personal wish of mine for an Heirloom concept. I also like the idea for the legend and weapons skins a little bit.
But the fact that this heirloom is locked behind 36 items is ridiculous and the amount of money I would most likely need to spend isn't worth it, even for an Heirloom that I so badly want. I wish I could get it in a free pack, but it most likely isn't going to happen.

While it's never specified exactly how much less than 1% it is, several players were able to test the probability during the Final Fantasy event. Even after opening over 5000 free packs over 5000 different accounts, not a single account ever got the heirloom for free on the first pack.

Everything in this game could be miles better, i never said this system is bad but i think everyone agrees that the s13 one was better in every way. Buster sword as a net negative and decided to cover it and seeing people say “thank you saved my money” or “hey this is what I wanted” is whole purpose. :)

You have to make yours and I'm sure these videos do well for your channel but it's not something I can support when it enables the egregious behaviors of EA/Respawn and drives sales to these overpriced cosmetics on a mass scale. While the focus of major issues keeps getting neglected because they can drag their feet with the "20-Year Vision" for Apex.
I don’t take any offense, let me say the community is crazy for cosmetics for some reason. Major industry problem stemming from Fortnite and goes over to Valorant and other games.
Comments keep asking me to cover skins. Bro I just can’t do it all the time. Just isn’t as fun. Don’t feel bad for not watching, why I have always had a day job. This isn’t how I make my main source of money. Even if videos got crap views. I still make guides on what I enjoy. Makes making content super easy!
Also, I get skins get views. But this isn’t my day job or what I want it all to be. It’s Why on the battlepass I “sometimes” do it. But I provide no commentary because bluntly I have nothing to say on skins. But I know you all want to see them. So I cave on occasion.
Heirlooms is easier to do if they have lore or purpose and change legend movement. I see the value on my end if someone says “I save my money thanks” or “this gave me assurance on what I want”.
I am an old time gamer, my belief is skins should just be unlocked for free. Even the. They should make sense and also not gated by weird meta like the Seer flatline one. Hot take, but if a game never had cosmetics I would not care. I have gotten push back on that btw. But cosmetics just isn’t gaming. Character customization is not a game I want to play.
Apex I play because the gameplay loop and my obsession to improve. Why I am a weirdo and aim train. Thats my true addiction.
Luckily this was a free heirloom so easy to make.
I spent more time on my lockdown tips video and commentary. Yet this video still got more views. Doesn’t mean gonna shift my content to skins only, drama, or so forth.
After Nessie cup tournament, we go back to spectating, guides, and improvement journey. Then honestly new event comes out I pick and choose if I care enough or if people bug me enough to cover it.

Why I limit sponsors on the channel and pass on raid shadow legends, crypto, and mobile games.

On the drama part, sometimes news has to be covered. I legit uninstalled my game for a week based on what happened from the hack. Came back when felt comfortable. Updates and changes impact guides and helping others improve.
This take may get hate. But I never cover leaks because it’s just skins. But also it’s a waste cover leaks on potential changes because they are changes not yet here and are not educational and subject to change. Some of those changes may not happen. That is the true cash grab. But it has no value or substance to me. I know may get hate for that. But just how I feel on skins and leaked content. Why never covered it.
