This and my Vulp just came in today and they both flip like a dream! I am relatively unskilled and do "safe" rollovers but when I picked this up rollovers felt so natural that I was accidentally not doing the "safe" version and nailing them. I really like the Vulp too! Perfect for someone just getting into the hobby but is passionate about the hobby. The machining and grip on it are amazing! I love it!

I just got my blue and satin kraken and it flips amazing, I had to tighten and re-locktight my bight handle pivot becouse it was a little loose but now it's perfect, you should really do a bladerunners product, I have an AB 3.0 and it flips a little better than my kraken and is a tank of a knife 👍

Thanks will 🙏 so I have a feeling that I’ll be flipping while at the gym, which is odd to see a competitive bodybuilder flipping a balisong between sets. 😂 but my motto in life is… #IDGAF!!! I bought a "blemished" kraken. It was *still* better out of the box than what I've gotten used to over the years. There was like one little false line lol. It has been my concrete knife for over a year. Ive never had to lay driver to it a single time. It's still on the factory loctite.

@Jasmin Jarin they’re sooooooo good. Like seriously blew my mind when I tried it. They do lose tune easily but I’m not bothered by tap, so long as play isn’t too bad, so that doesn’t bother me. Overall it’s great at everything. It does take a little bit to get used to though as it’s heavier than most channel al balisongs
AEB-L is a fine grained stainless steel developed in the 60's(?) for razor blades. Its also known as 13C26. A tough steel which is probably why they chose it for a balisong.

If u tightened it all way and it locked up bushings don't poke out juuust enough. Bushings are made so u can tighten all the way down.if the bushings are perfect you can tighten them fully and have zero play or tap.
I work security and I use balisongs for defense over guns I love blades more than guns. I was wondering how much better or close it was to the benchmade balisongs for defense. I do flip but Moreno for quick release than tricks.
Squid Industries that is awesome you guys have always been a great company. I know that sometimes things fall through the cracks but what matters is how you work with the customer to get it resolved. If the bushings weren’t the same size as a replicant I would’ve sent it in for a share button since they are the same size I had extras and just refit them using my lap so not a big deal at all I still have it and just flicked it for about two hours straight this morning LOL love you guys keep up the good work can’t. Wait to see what you guys have up your sleeve’s next all I’m also super impressed with the squid trainer 3.5 I don’t know how you get such good tolerance is without bushings but this is amazing it’s a smooth this knife I own. It feels like it’s on bearings lol

Only issue I have with Squid is the Aluminum handles are soft, and damage fairly easily.
morelli tech its 7075 aluminum which is very tanky compare to what you expect, which is 6062 aluminum which is what the squid trainers series use
