- The West Coast Flipping Championship 2019 was the first balisong/ butterfly knife flipping tournament held at Blade Show West. The competition featured 32 flippers flipping LIVE blades in a head to head showdown for wicked sick prizes and massive bragging rights.

I don't understand how Joff lost to the guy that whiffed at 13:08. Like, Joff was just better. Even when Diego did cool stuff it still didn't have a consistent/crisp look to it. Probably just nerves getting to him but to still say he won even though Joff just had a better and more consistent performance is kinda dumb.

There are two types of people. Those that are good at flipping, and those that aren't scared to get cut.
I am a Batanguena, from Malvar, Batangas, Philippines and I am very happy to see that our balisong has gained so much popularity even overseas. It surprises me that it is even allowed over there. I do feel embarrassed that being born and raised here, I don't even know how to flip one. After the quarantine, I will visit Ona's Batangas Blades in Taal to get myself a training knife and a real one.

I’m new to balisongs. I’ve had them when I was a little kid, but I got my first good live blade and a good trainer. I’m only able to do beginner and a few amount of amateur moves. These guys are blowing my mind using these live blades

I used to play balisong during(80s) my elementary school days and our backyard banana trees was'nt spared by it. Until our government consider this as a dangerous weapon so I stop. Thanks for this, it brings my childhood memories back.

@@emmas1366 pff I had my yoyo phase like 5-6 years ago, I got into cubing last year august, but started December, and now I'm looking into flipping :') probably stick to cubing though, my parents don't like knives lol (I'm clumsy so-)

I got a bali recently and learned some of the most easiest tricks and am proud of myself, but when I came to this, I realized that these guys have some really good talent and their flipping skills are insane.
