The famous atheist had said that Christianity is a 'fundamentally decent religion in the way Islam is not', after Ramadan lights were hung in central London during Easter.
Mehdi criticised Richard's use of 'sweeping statements' and called his comments Islamophobic.

If you read the Quran in your native language, you will be astonished! This book is different from the books of Jews and Christians.
It is recommended to recite the Quran in Arabic, as it is the original language of the revelation. However, it is also beneficial to study its interpretation (tafsir) in a language you understand best. For instance, as a fluent German speaker and proficient in Arabic and English, you may find it more comprehensive to read the Quran in Arabic and delve into its interpretation in your preferred language.
