At least that was the general attitude i picked up while traveling in the region when it came to peoples views on IL. This was ofc. during "peace time" so i would assume way more people are a bit more heated about the issue these past few months. In the context of sport events however i would assume that playing in for example Qatar or Egypt would not be all that pleasant considering the usual sports crowds and their chants etc. Might be perceived as hostile, but not exactly dangerous.
