Little pocket rockets them 160's. I remember when they brought them out, they did a van version, basically no rear seats, and rear side windows were metal not glass. That was king of the courier vans, i had a escort 55 diesel and coveted the rover.
Great to see someone save another ZR from the throw away culture of today. I had a ZR TD from new in 2001,it was a great motor. I wouldn't mind adding a ZR Express to my MG fleet!

@@ThomasEdward My MG fleet consists of my everyday car which replaced the ZR which is a 3,my wife has a TF 135 Sprint and my long term resident of 23 years my Maestro turbo which was in MG Enthusiast magazine back in January 2019. It's in BRG and been to POL a couple of times.
He's good lad Noel just been talking our friend tonight who's got us van load stuff ready for his OEM factory refit. but in mean time JJ and Gordon will have Videos on them before Noel's build starts. have you checked out our BRM video?

Stick with 25 2002 be built so much better than later car if want power just get 135 in it? 🚗 very hard find good ZR now also they going up now even 1.4 engine bigger money than when I started fleet 2016. Noel in video what done full build on seen on my channel? Hardly any of 160’s about now rare car people strip and race too many of them unfortunately.

I have a Trophy Blue Mk 2 ZR 160. Great fun to drive, and the K series engines are really under-rated in my opinion. They love being revved , are really responsive and sound great. The ZR is so much more involving to drive than a modern day car.

Well video was made for guessing game wanted you all to have discussion on it 😊 Yes Noel is the Kendal car and seens owning him we’ve found two previous owners through this video. With guy put him back on road last year.
@@ThomasEdward never got the notification well better late then never, i really like the ZR here but it was done so poorly terrible spray job on the alloys so they flaked off terrible upkeep on the whole body of the car so it all just rotted away bodge jobs all over it. The only redeeming thing on the car was that backbox it chav pipe would have been a cherry bomb or straight pipe personally.

Oh yeah the Express Van either in Rover 25 form or MG ZR seriously sort after machines and when they do come up for sale they go for bit of cash too!

I own a Rover 25 2002 1.4, bought it for £350 and it was mint with 53k on the clock 🙂
