I know people like to criticize Spider-Man No Way Home, seeing it as a huge nostalgia fest. Part of the small group of movies where it’s sole purpose is to remind you of better movies you saw years ago like a huge advertisement. Sprinkled with callbacks, references and fan service moments just to get cheap reactions from people (examples being Space Jam 2, and Ready Player One). But at least in that movie, Tom Holland didn’t get completely overshadowed by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield or even the old villains. And it was still HIS story overall.

We’re at a point in life where in a movie a parent death is sad sure but when you just outright announce it so the audience can feel bad for the character and don’t actually create a good story with that plot detail then it’s just like… okay??
The reasonable, logical thing to do, especially based on the prevalance of Batman in the trailer already, would have been to edit Ezra out completely, re-shoot some things and make this a Batman movie. It wouldn't have been great, but it wouldn't tank simply because you decided to keep an abuser around to star in your fucking film.

When it comes to movies, eventually people are gonna be more and more sick of it and be more cynical towards them. Especially when they start to notice the same tricks and choices and settle for mediocrity because it makes money. I try not to be that way most of the time. I’m very optimistic for the James Gunn DC reboot and hopefully it’ll not only be good but also lit a fire under Disney and the MCU’s asses and put more effort. Competition is always important when it comes to business.

Marvel will be doing a secret wars event cause it's cool, DC is doing the flash point to reset their failed snyderverse. and gunn leaving is also a good thing for marvel, or they should see it that way. i don't agree with the thinking that the marvel movies are getting mediocre, but i do agree there are some tropes that happen a bit much. they just need fresh meat in the directors department on a more regular basis. when most of their movies are made by the same handful of people, they can start to feel the same. and i do agree that gunn will make DC into actual competition for marvel now.

They didn’t “keep Ezra”, the movie was filmed two years ago before the news of Ezra’s actions and arrests was public and they were already deep into post production by then. Ezra and Heard are obviously finished after these two movies so do more research before making ignorant comments.
And yet, a film with Ezra Miller as the lead actor is getting a lot of public interest.

1.) Ok then, please provide a link to these supposed articles because it’s clear they aren’t playing the characters anymore. Look at the interviews with James Gunn when they ask him about it, his reaction says it all.
2.) Again more ignorance. Batgirl had a budget of 90 million whereas the flash already had a budget of 200 million. Not a valid comparison.
3.) Literally all I did was point out you were wrong. I think you need to check what the definition of being angry is.
I really wish they would just hurry up and replace Ezra with Grant Gustin instead. They already even had a crossover in the CW series, so it would be canonically possible.

I find it hilarious where Adam was saying that the Flash is the new Batman and later in the trailer he mentions that they made a crappy suit for Flash...but in the film it's actually a Batman suit with the ears cut off, painted red and a flash symbol painted over the Batman logo, lol. He kinda called it right!

We’re at a point in life where in a movie a parent death is sad sure but when you just outright announce it so the audience can feel bad for the character and don’t actually create a good story with that plot detail then it’s just like… okay??
The reasonable, logical thing to do, especially based on the prevalance of Batman in the trailer already, would have been to edit Ezra out completely, re-shoot some things and make this a Batman movie. It wouldn't have been great, but it wouldn't tank simply because you decided to keep an abuser around to star in your fucking film.

I didn't know who Erza Miller was so looked them up to see what all the fuss is about. I only did 5 minutes of research and I'm already convinced this guy is delusional.
This is it, the big movie that’s gonna reboot DC. Don’t be surprised when the MCU does the same thing when Secret Wars comes out, as more and more are gonna start screaming for more Iron Man and Captain America content. Then they’ll start from scratch and get that Green Knight guy to be Iron Man. These days, this era of Comic Book Media is expendable.

i don't think they'll start from scratch. it will probably be how the comics did it, they'll keep some characters while changing/adding others. and what do you mean these day? comics have been doing multiverse shattering events for decades in order to clear up rosters of what worked and what didn't.
@@kreiyu In comics, that’s always commonplace for reboots and restructuring through events. When it comes to movies, eventually people are gonna be more and more sick of it and be more cynical towards them. Especially when they start to notice the same tricks and choices and settle for mediocrity because it makes money. I try not to be that way most of the time. I’m very optimistic for the James Gunn DC reboot and hopefully it’ll not only be good but also lit a fire under Disney and the MCU’s asses and put more effort. Competition is always important when it comes to business.
@@comixproviderftw_02 well unlike the comics, movies have to change it up. actors are not static comic book characters and the world of movie making is way more chaotic. and even if they didn't want to to a redo thing, they are adapting stories from the comics. it's just something that will be part of the story they are telling at this point. i'm honestly excited for a marvel secret wars incursion event, the story was awesome. and it's a great way to incorporate all the new IP's they got after bought fox studios. i hope we'll see god doom. Marvel will be doing a secret wars event cause it's cool, DC is doing the flash point to reset their failed snyderverse. and gunn leaving is also a good thing for marvel, or they should see it that way. i don't agree with the thinking that the marvel movies are getting mediocre, but i do agree there are some tropes that happen a bit much. they just need fresh meat in the directors department on a more regular basis. when most of their movies are made by the same handful of people, they can start to feel the same. and i do agree that gunn will make DC into actual competition for marvel now.

I feel like people in the video chat are a little too generous about calling everything a multiverse now. Like, these people all live on the same planet and the same country! People are across space in different galaxies meeting up on the same planet in Star Wars and that gets multiverse thrown around less often.

I feel like the intention for the logos at 24:46 was that the flash would be last, and you'd get the title drop and so they thought it would be "The most significant logo" instead we have like a 3 second clip that just epitomizes what the marketing campaign of this movie: other superheroes first, please ignore ezra miller.
