Great video, well done! I’ve 2019 Prius and the MFD has whited out: v occasionally works normally for a trip. Might use your video to check everything’s tight back there…
Do we need to install the mic and antenna even if the car came with navigation and a voice command system? Also, can we use the factory USB port in the car for Android Auto or does it need to be connected with the actual Vline module?
Yes you need to install the mic and the GPS antenna. It is possible to use factory USB port in the car for Android Auto, special hook up cable will be needed.
@@EJtheArtist you do not replace the console with the new one. With GROM VLine VL2 system you connect the VLine VL2 to the existing car stereo and display. All works through the factory stereo system.
Hi my 2016 toyota prius (import from japan) doesn't seem to have the black clip and the panel won't come off. It's exactly the same design everything seems the same except the black clip. Any idea where i could find the black clip / how to remove the panel? Thanks
Hi I have a 2016 toyora prius eco 2. The stereo/radio has been acting up. I'll be listening to the radio or my own music and the music will just stop for a few seconds sometimes close to a minute and then just start up again. I've rented other Toyota prius cars and haven't had this problem. Do you know what would be the problem? Could it be wiring? Where could i take it to get fixed? Thank you.
You need to check if the stereo has LCD screen. If the screen is the same as on this video, the VLine VL2 system will work. Please check here: gromaudio.com/store/vline/grom-vl2-ten.html We do not provide the instructions for 2015 vehicle, however you can check our CZcams channel for the available videos.
@@gromaudio My 2015 Prius V is not the same interior as the standard Prius. This video has the exact interior as my car: czcams.com/video/RtO7b7aWZ00/video.html Can you look at timestamp 1:44 to see if this is the LCD screen? It looks similar to the one if your video. But i am not sure. Thank you.
@@geo5106 reviewed, the stereo looks like compatible and should work with the TEN model of VLine system. Please check here: gromaudio.com/store/vline/grom-vl2-ten.html

2017 Prius Prime Advanced w 11.6" touchscreen compatible? Worked great in the 2015 Lexus IS350, 2009 RX350, and CT200h...
Yes it will work, please check here: gromaudio.com/store/vline/grom-vl2-ten.html
👍
Was there a tab on the wiring harness or did you just wrestle it out?
The wiring harnesses have connectors that matching the back of the stereo and display. The connections are plug-and-play.
Where is the install portion of this video?
This is the install portion, what else do you need to see?

Is that a 7inch screen??
Where are the swc wires located? Is there a part 2
that's show the installation?
We do not tap on SWC wires for this installation.

It is hard to say, need to see in person.

For the problems with your factory radio we recommend contacting Toyota service center in your location. They will be able to help.
Is this compatible with Prius that’s equipped with JBL speakers?
It is compatible as long as the stereo has LCD touchscreen.
Is it ready for Prius plus or v 2020
What year are the vehicles? Do they have Entune 2.0 stereo?
Where can I get it? What's the finished look?
Please check gromaudio.com for more information.
