Do you guys not have these kits for the 2014-2018 RAV4 anymore ?
been trying to figure out why i wasn't getting any backup camera signal for the Rav4.
i looked at many vids and this is the only one that actually mentions the need to make sure to install the CAN VIN cable being installed. thanks!!!

Nope, you still need to use theirs .. I think it have combability issue! Sirius XM radio still need an external antenna

Nice system but no update beyond Android 9.0 for the system! Also, you still need to use a new Bluetooth Microphone despite the car have it's own. I will keep using my big Note, works better with updates and no extra charges for hotspot or separate LTE USB.
I installed the carplay to my rav4 2018. everything works fine except for the rearview camera. when I reverse the gear, the screen is transitioned but it only remains in black. any clue why this is happening?

It is important all these units should have cooling fans on back otherwise it would become hot and cause instability. Most of the units don't have cooling fans.

Does this work with the birds eye veiw camera that's on the limited models?
My mom just got this kit for her 2014 XLE. Though her car does not have the bird's-eye view cameras, the extra connections for those cameras do come with the kit. So, it should be compatible with this unit, yes. Hope that helps!
@@jasonmartineau6441 Unless you have tried hooking up bird eyeview as it need multiple cameras, you can't tell for sure if it works. It is not as simple.
How much is the cost of the unit and the installation?
Are the CAR and SETUP button functions of original head unit available with this GTA car kit? i.e. fuel consumption info, various car settings etc.
Settings will be available, the fuel consumption app is part of original stereo and will be disabled, but you can download similar type of app, as that app is just an estimation all, and not really tied to your vehicle at all. Thank you.

Hi, my 2013 Rav4 XLE came with a microphone, navigation, and Sirius XM radio. Would I be able to use the existing wiring for those, or do I have to run the Mic & GPS antenna as shown in the video?

My mom just got this kit for her 2014 XLE. The image is not improved, it's just enlarged. The image quality isn't great, but it works, and everything is still visible with guidelines. Hope that helps!

Steering wheel control is it hard to hook up ?
Not at all. The wheel is already wired to the back of the radio, like the main power wiring harness. No struggle at all.

@@ishventurez So far so good. She doesn't use it often, though. We have noticed that it can be a little slow when it's very hot, but other than that, no issues.

@@ishventurez Yeah, it's been good. I think we tried the bluetooth when we first got it, and something isn't jiving with the speakers, haven't figured that out yet, but we haven't had to use it really. It does pretty well, though. You should be alright.
What are the 2 USB cables routed to the glove compartment for, and what do you do about the apparent LOSS of a CD player? Do you have to buy an additional CD/DVD player?
