OMG, some one explain that to the Fire Emblem Three Houses Devs how do you have a school full of cats and dogs horses, owls, and $#@% dragons but can't interact.
I actually really liked that this game didn't try to break the mold. It felt really good to lean far back in thr recliner and just casually hop around roof top to roof top collecting stuff at my own pace. I think a problem with most major AAA titles is they try to cram so much in that they forget to be a game.

I just wish that there was more elements for powers. Wind, water, fire gets repetitive and the other 5 slots are just for talismans and a bow. The bow is alright but yeah I mean I’m hoping this game did good enough to get a sequel cuz I think they could iron out some of the kinks

If they plan for a sequel then I hope they could integrate some melee combat and it would be very helpful even you run all out of your elixirs and arrows and need to rely on your close quater combat skills.
Actually, a Ghostbuster movie set in Tokyo would be really interesting! They'd be out of their element and have to quickly learn how to deal with the quirky restless spirits of Japan!

Tokyo Ghostwire in a Nutshell: Saving your Sister and the entire Tokyo with Kakashi from the band My Chemical Romance while throwing gang sign justu to every variant of slender man and headless horsemen while helping the entire Wildlife with their shenanigan, and fulfilling your Spiderman dream but in Japan
but over all really love this game and it's every concept and how their mechanic works

Having seen most of them, this is one of the best reviews of this game on CZcams (‘designed like a ubisoft game, but with boring combat, and it’s not a horror game’). I’m v into this game, so seeing it underdeliver for many critics was a nice reminder of how far my tastes can differ from the gaming mainstream. Going on a visually impressive cinematic adventure steeped in creepy Japanese folklore is a good look imo
Game is good overall. I love how Japanese folklore is included in the game and Tokyo is just fkng stunning. Many times I just pause and look around to appreciate the beautifully crafted city.
Agreed. I think the concept itself was great and it just needed more touching up when it came to execution

The game was obviously not the "Next big thing"... but i liked it. And i think if they hear the critics a second game of Ghostwire realy could get special... the setting is not overuses and something new... the magic lacks variety and yes... mobility in fights... but i mean... come one... we could feel a bit like Dr. Strange... build on it.
Look at Tango Gameworks previous game The Evil Within. The first Evil Within got 7's but the sequel scored higher and was better in almost every way. Let's hope Ghostwire follows the same pattern.
@@XanderCrease I completely disagree, I think tEW1 was one of the best survival horror action games I’ve ever played, and 2 felt like a generic slog through a “semi” open world map just for the sake of saying it wasn’t linear. But to each their own. I like Ghostwire Tokyo and I do hope it gets a great sequel as well.

I don't own the platform for the game so I watched it from a non-commentated playthrough, and I actually treated it like it's a walking video for someone who doesn't have the money to visit Japan. I don't mind the horror either; these ghosts and ghouls are genuinely adorable most of the times.
