I love this pattern. I love most of the patterns you show even though on my limited income I can't afford the yarn normally. I am saving to purchase some of the yarn for a project for myself. I am 72 (almost 73) and have used several of the patterns with yarns I can afford to adapt them slightly and make shawls for nursing home residents. They don't look as nice because I have to use yarns like Caron One Pounder and RedHeart because of the way nursing homes do laundry. Again, I would like to thank you and your lovely designers for the gorgeous patterns because my nursing home residents love the items made for them.

This is gorgeous, it looks like a Ruana! I love how versatile it can be. Thank you so much for demonstrating exactly how to join the 2 panels, I was getting a bit confused from the verbal directions, I am very much a visual learner! Thank you so much for sharing and making the tutorial and pattern! On my project list and saving the tutorial in my library!

This pattern is easy and the yarn is gorgeous! As a former hand dyer I know how lovely lyocell and Merino wool are...and together they are fantastic! I've woven a number of capes like this and so have plenty...but I think one more in the knit pattern is in order. Whoever the hand dyer is does beautiful work - I just love the colours!

Thank you for demonstrating how to do the join! I'm starting to try knits that involve multiple pieces, and so it's nice to find another technique. Also, excuse the random question, but are you tall? I am rather on the short side (5'3''), and sometimes wonder if the pattern size and whatnot will end up being more blanket-like than wearable. That wouldn't stop me, of course (love a good snuggly blanket-type thing), but I cannot gauge how large a finished product will be by pictures.

    • @RIODJENIRO1

YES, Please! Not only is your shawl a winner; your sweater is delightful too. Plus, I always enjoy your positive energy.

I love this pattern, but what yarn can substitute the luster sports yarn❤️🌸💝🥰

  • @juliettgomezrodriguez6716

I was wondering if there's anyway to make this bit with more spaced stitches...? Like, Cleary visible wholes in the patter so it would be more as a beach cover up

Sure, just find a knitting stitch pattern you love and then you can adopt it to this pattern. Just make sure you're getting the same size rectangles and you'll be golden. :)
