Thing is, Thorpe Park have no right to control the airspace above the park. If somebody flies a sub 250g drone from the public land nearby, and not over crowds, (according to the civil aviation authority, a crowd is defined by whether there's enough space to dodge a falling drone, so think football or concert crowds, and possibly queue lines at a theme park too.) Then they're within their legal rights to do so, provided they follow the other guidelines, especially distance and height rules. Thorpe does not sit within Heathrow's airspace, it's well outside the FRZ on Drone Assist. And you cannot own or control the airspace above your property. (Pages 15 and 16 of the drone code clarify the crowd law, and specifically names theme parks as places you are permitted to fly over in the sub 250g section at the bottom of page 16.)
That being said, anybody flying over an open and operating theme park, whether it's defined as a crowd or not, is being an absolute idiot. If they cause large companies to complain too much, they'll spoil it for all of us, because those companies will lobby the government and the drone laws will be tightened to be more restrictive. Fly sensibly, regardless of what the laws technically say, act with common sense and consideration for others, and don't force the government to spoil the drone hobby for others...

they didnt know about a problem on the lift hill and only about the gates, the gates take a week to fix and the hill untill the ninth

I KNOW that its the lift hill. When i went on the 25th i saw a guy with a checklist i think it was was at the top of chainlift and he was looking at something
