I’m a 72 old Aussie who has had JF and his music in my life, I can only describe the feeling listening to his voice and music as a joy no other singer can give. We all go through bad times in our lives, but when I listen to this man I’m filled with joy.The pain you have at the time eases away as you’re filled with a sense of comfort. I watch you react to John and your eyes give it away not just the tears, I see joy every time you watch him perform, I know because I’ve had that for 50 years or more. Thank you for sharing that joy with us ❤
He has no match.
I cannot believe when I was younger that I was not a John Farnham fan, but as the years have rolled on, I have become his biggest fan. What a master of his craft this man is.
You're not alone with your emotion... how about playing We Two with John and The Little River Band(1983)
Sometime the joy of watching such a sincere performer, perform to his peak ALWAYS makes me think, at times I have something in my eye
I'm a 78 year old Aussie, I have listened to John Farnham since the days of Sadie, During the 1990's, I used to do a jazz radio program with the minister that performed the marriage of John and Jill. By coincidence, it was the same church my first wife and I were married in about 5 or 6 years earlier. I have been to a few of his Melbourne concerts and thoroughly enjoyed them, even today, some of his songs bring a tear to my eyes,
Dearest Angie 1 and 3/7th sugar here AKA Chrissie AKA . Your other sis ❤️. I haven’t seen the movie yet but will probably do so on Thursday as it’s out on general release here then. If I could, I’d take you along with me and I will be thinking of you when I see it. ❤️❤️❤️
I love that John can do to you what he's always done to me, that he can move you with his songs, his voice, his performances and his messages. I'm a 70 year old woman, and have followed John right from the beginning of his career. I've been to all of his concerts that he's performed in South Australia, and some in Sydney, and he always blows me away at every one of them. I have copies of all of his concerts. I have a John Farnham playlist with at least 200 of his songs on it, and I listen to some of them every day. Even after all these years, songs and performances like this one move me to tears every single time I hear them. Thank you for this reaction. 💖💖
Hey Angie and Rollen, just to give you an update on Farney's health. His son Rob has advised that he is cancer-free and taking walks with his dog and also he is actually SINGING around the house!! His documentary was also on our free to air TV station channel 7 last night so hopefully it will come to CZcams soon. ❤❤❤
When Freddie Murcrury passed away, Queen asked John to take over the lead vocals for them. He declined, because it would mean to much time away from his family. They understood that, despite John being their first choice. But they love him and do perform with him when they get the chance.
Angie my love , let those tea rs flow. I'm a 63 yo man who can't listen to John without tearing up.
He is the GOAT. I am going (I just turned 67 yesterday) tonight, Mother's Day, to the Cinema in Shepparton, Victoria. Only 8 more hours to wait, but who's counting.... lol
John is a legend...the G.O.A.T!
I have seen the documentary and have been listening to John since Sadie. I listen to at least one song from John every day and the tears are always there. He is a beautiful human being and has the best voice. I love the man, his music and the people who are around him. He is a legend.❤🙏🥰
for most performers, singing is what they do. for John, it's what he is.
John doesn't "sing" songs, he LIVES them.
The King!
I have a playlist of songs that have made me emotional. Often I still have to play each song three times in a row before I move on to the next, because I can’t leave the space the song put me in yet. I’m glad you’ve found someone who moves you so much.
There will never be another John Farnham ❤
John Farnham is one of the greatest singers of all times hands down !! So glad the world is getting a chance to listen to him , we in Australia have been fortunate to grow up listening to him n when I was young I didn’t really listen to his music I was more into classic rock but now I’m in my 50’s n I can appreciate it his god given talent !!!
