- Replace your old 2x1 design with my best solo/duo/trio rust base design. The Agitator is a strong easy to build triple bunker with a small, yet spacious design. It can tank 27 rockets to TC, and approximately 45 to all main loot. All expanded off a simple starter base.

I also couldn’t get it, I got it as close as possible and was still able to reach both box’s and TC no matter which way I tried to flip it
I ended up placing the vending machine as close as possible to the door way. If you place a garage door guarding your boxes and then the window and window frames guarding the TC. It will force the people raiding you to go through the vending machine
FOR CONSOLE PLAYERS!!!!! You cannot place vending machines the way he did. Instead place them with the corner closes to boxes at an angle. Placing it crooked makes one side unlootable. FOR TC I would make tc side the bunker side and place small boxes with grills and a garage door on the other side
You can actually make this base on console however, the vending machines need to be placed before the doorframes. This accuracy isn’t too difficult but you may want to practice on a build server first.
It didnt work for me at first, but i think i put a door on or took it off then reset the console. But i 100% did it the same way he did.
You can place the vendy from inside the doorframe

@@antx4436 what I did is just put the vending machine to the right of the door more, so it just bunkers the tc and then put 4 small boxes on the left side behind a garage door
It can be done if you free hand place the vending machine before the door frame, practice on a build server.

The starter was almost enough to make my trio quit lmao. I told them it turns out nice in the end but I will agree the starter for a trio is BRUTAL.
skip the window on the right side of the door and make that a smelting/crafting room
yeah if I need 6k stone before I place a workbench I'd rather build a 1x1

That’s why u always build a 2x2 or 2x1 for starter next to main base spot. Never build this first starter as a trio lmao

Great build, just change front door and you got a solid 31 rocket base. It's probably the most cost effective design I've seen for no build outs for the trade-off it's pricey on gears.
I don’t think it’s possible to do the vending machine trick with the doorways on console

This is an excellent build and I love it as a solo! Just in case anyone wanted even MORE protection, you can easily add a foundation stability bunker where the jump up is by placing a raised traingle foundation to the left (must be built at the same time as placing your TC as there will then be a half wall there instead of a full wall) and a raised square foundation to the right which acts as part of the external honeycomb. It is a little pricey, and remember to add half walls and a floor tile above the exposed bunker foundations to prevent soft siding, but its a great way to add even more strength to the base when logging off, you can also place a traingle roof ladder hatch above it for enother doors worth of explosives!

One of the best base out there. Great Job! I feel like the weak point is the roof. You started with so much space but end up with: No fenced turrets, no bunkered vending machine and no wind turbine. Hopefully you make a V2 with a better roof and add an optional compound + 1 external TC option.

I haven’t started to use this yet as I’m on a wipe rn with my 3 other friends, but after this wipe I’m going sup with my friend and definitely using this base, it is very well designed

this design is awesome! Symmetrical in a lot of areas and lots of great places for traps and storage. I really enjoy how you take a lot of the windows and turn them into loot rooms, that's a nice idea! Realistically I'll probably not do the roof floor since i'm gonna be on a solo vanilla, but the rest I feel like is very attainable as a solo player in the right location :D gonna give it a go tmrw on wipe day!
If you do roof floor throw another triangle roof piece on the front of the square ceiling between the two half walls on the honeycomb as well and even if you don’t use it it as solo it stops people from laddering up to roof . Trust me I learned from my mistakes. I only put up the roof pieces that he said in video and they laddered up where it was flat

Nice base and nice work there, one thing to add is that rooftop turrets without chainlink protection are a huge weak spot, cuz simple grenade spam on the roof and the turret is broken. Here it is crucial cuz all the picks are basically on the roof and if the turret is broken people can sit there not letting you defend properly.

This is one of the best rust bases ive seen and as a rust console player myself i love the fact that he is considering to whole console side of the rust community
Thank you so much! Just a quick note that some people on console had a hard time placing the vending machines. If you want to make this a ton easier you can wait to place the single door frames until after the vending machine is placed down and it’ll be a ton easier on console. (Place the vending machine right on the inner line of the triangle foundation.) hope this helps!
Gotta leave a comment for this one I play console rust have about 600 hrs and this was the first duo base I've used off here that actually worked the way it was suppose to defended a 4 hr raid yesterday then later another 3 hour attempt just me and my duo partner who has about 250 hrs total thanks for the design for sure and it is properly named because two different sets of duos rage quit after not being able to get in lol

Absolutely love this base for my duo! It's fantastic! No gimmicks (not that I shy from that).
The only thing I wish you did differently or in addition to was build it on Sanctuary so there's a code to just upload the base. I mean I'm gonna practice building it if I like it anyway.
It's nice to just upload the base and take an in person tour if you will. Get a feel for the designers intentions!

man i play rust on a budget Literally i play on ps4/old gen and its so laggy but i still play and as a solo its hard to find good bases so i was looking and i found your video and no one ever makes a base that works on console rust so i love this base and im looking forward to more like this one keep it up i hope you see this. gg brotha

Can confirm this base is so expensive to raid. Me and some mates raided all the way through to the drop down with the auto turret above, before we all got 1 clicked by a guy holding the new flame thrower.

For console you can either pre place the vendy or do it form inside the core itself
I have 1800 hours and I play console rust, people say it’s bad but it’s gotten way smoother with better monuments graphics and this next update we are getting underwater labs and submarines
I’ve used this base a couple wipes and to anyone using it here’s my feedback… awesome base once fully built with garage doors and all that it’s insane but the only downfalls I had was 1) in the windows that are outside on the first phase before honeycomb if you are only using metal bars or wood bars it is easy for a group to soft side the wall stone wall of the jump up to get in so I’d recommend either getting that honeycomb up instantly or putting a wall up instead of window and soft siding yourself later on in build and 2) for the shooting/top floor, place another triangle roof piece facing out on the roof above the window that’s between the two half walls otherwise grubs can just ladder up and camp the top door till you come out

Not even kidding i got raided while i was watching this build video
Having all those windows saved me and my friend. This huge group completely controls my server, and they tried to raid us, but counters fended them off, but they sealed us in our own base. So they gave up and went offline. Me and my duo made a base on the other side of the map and transferred all the loot through the window to the other base. They got a small bit of guns and farm but we got the majority of our loot back
How did they seal?
@@scarysphincter9735 I actually have no idea, now that makes me question things, because we didn’t have a door frame up on the second floor, and our TC was locked, they breached into the first loot room, but we sealed it up. This at the stage of before we placed the vending machine bunker, they sealed with a normal armoured door on the second floor. Makes me question things about the group ngl

Love the base, quick question. Have you ever thought about adding progression tips to power generation in your videos.
As in show us where solar panels would not get in the way before finishg the roof, or prebuild a way for a windmill, so people who dont know the base by hearth, can build one without ruining the intended layout of the roof.

Have an issue on console placing the first bunker vending machine, you said to click W on PC to get it hover over the door frame. Obviously console can’t do that, anyone have any suggestions on how to get it place correctly?
whenever i test this bunker on build servers the splash damage from explosives breaks the TC and the 2 boxes behind the vending machine. is the point to make it harder for them to get the loot, but not protect the TC from breaking?
What do I do if the vending machine for the main bunker won’t get close enough for me to place?
If I do overlapping TCS when they get my main TC can they rotate the vending machine or no because of the overlapping?
Just wondering, can you buil dstandard externals off of those stone honeycombs?

Did the vending machine thing get fixed? I can't get it to fit in the doorway. Does the frame have to be stone for it to worK? Also the discord invite link in your channel doesn't work.
I like this base but when you upgrade bunkers to hqm its expose lootroom behind it .. and you can't lock the boxes if vending is placed... but one good thing if you place wrong your vending and can't loot your box your upgrade frame to hqm :D

Bro, I'm not gonna lie. I am so slow that I've watched your video 17 times But I absolutely love this design. You were right, it was very simple, compact and with the simple bunkers. I'm building this my next white😂🎉 By the way, I have 3K hours in rust.
The only thing that this base was missing was bed respawns with lockers, i replaced the boxes after the glass windows with garage doors at the very start, and later buily lockers and beds, but overall, very good, felt lke you had a clan base without having one.
Could a turret shoot through that roof gap from 13m 25s and use that for a pod design?
Hey zypic, wanted to say I love the base but I was wondering I don’t like the placement of the jump up to roof because of the lack of vision on the side of the base, where would you recommend putting a jump up so it is centered and 360 vision around base is clear
Thank you! You could also place the jump up closer to the core where the battery is placed. But doing that makes the raid cost very cheap through doors so make sure you add more to the path from the roof.
CONSOLE RUST: place the vending machine before the doorframes, in middle of the triangle foundation where the line is(sheet metal black line) put it exactly in the middle, then add doorframes and doors.

8k hours pc. Just built this on build server think I made some improvements on it . Where the square horizontal embraciers are I've put metal ramp on floor so u can have extra peak also added external bedroom rooms I copied from another base design
